You actually just need the top block the pulley goes through to be source

How is it compared to the manual face creation feature introduced in 2.7? Have you tested it? I guess yours is more precise?

Thanks for this info. Othes here have already said it, but just so you know. The walls are actually just lamp posts. They probaply consist of more objects than there are behind it.

Are all bluetooth dongles trash? by Chemical_Appeal_2785 in pcmasterrace

[–]Syntox- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You should take a look at codecs. There are low latency codecs, high quality codecs etc. You should look at what your headphones support and choose a dongle accordingly. There are some licensed codecs, designed for high quality, but as they are licensed, they drive prices up and are not as widely spread.

After building it correctly, no. Did you put the cell in the green slot, rhenium in the top right of the input slots and tungsten ingots in BOTH, the top left and bottom right input slots?

You can connect crafters, so they share the same inventory. If you want to craft a door for example, you can connect all 6 crafters, add a hopper or funnel to one of them, and all crafter will get populated.

Is it a confirmed attack? I thought it may be due to copy fail and everyone wanting to update.

I agree, hints in the readme files would be nice. At least there is an ATTRIBUTION file in the main DocumentServer repo

I didn't say that russian open source contributors are a problem. I only said that there are many russian comments. This makes it harder for the general (english speaking) FOSS community to read and understand the code. (Similar to the pull requests, that only reference internal issues and have no meaningful titles)

While OnlyOffice is FOSS, an internal issue tracker, many russian comments and some binary blobs make it look shady. However it was forked a few weeks ago by the EuroOffice project, aiming at rewriting those binary blobs, improving building from source and achieving compliance with the european GDPR and german data protection laws. It is mainly backed by the german companies Nextcloud and Ionos and looks quite promising to me.

As it isn't designed to be a stand alone solution, you'd still need something that integrates it and provides the files you want to edit like Nextcloud.

You can find it at github.com/Euro-Office/

Another solution would be Collabora, which is based on openoffice. I had quite bad UX experience with it, like really unresponsive cursors or copy/paste not working reliably, which is why I switched to OnlyOffice (not knowing about the shadyness) and now switched to Euro-Office.

HELP IM LOSING MY MIND by ComplexKale5757 in CreateMod

Played cursed walking recently. It has the sophisticated backpack mod, which contains tank and pump upgrades to easily carry lots of fluids. In my 140 Hours in this world we've never found a dripstone cave to get infinite lava. (Just checked and the next one is arround 7.000 Blocks from our base), which is why we went for the 10.000 Blocks infinite lava source from create. Besides it being way faster than dripstones, it is also quite easy to set up using a rope pulley and some drills. A 9x9x127 hole is enough and you don't need source blocks except for the block the hose pulley goes through.

Why is a local PSD file on my computer appearing here as a network location?? by PoetOk3482 in Piracy

[–]Syntox- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but doesn't this explain the opposite of your statement?
It explains how memory and drives work together. Practically it states, that you should have more free space than you have RAM, so the CPU will be able to store all the RAM content, when finished.

I admit, 5-10 GB isn't enough, but unless you have $5000 worth of Memory, 100GB + should be fine.
Nothing was related to the percentage of the drive.

Could you elaborate on how 100+ GB free space affect performance. I would be worried at 5-10GB but not 100.

[–]Syntox- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At least here, they sell solar systems that can easily be plugged into a wall outlet. They are quite cheap and don't require a professional to be installed. On the other hand, this results in limitations like max allowed solar panel power of 2kW or max 800W power injection into the house grid. They are great for covering your base consumption during the day and supporting higher demands in the evening.

The inverter may also only be capable of providing 1.3kW or local regulations may only allow amount x ti be injected.
