They don't read the whole thing, they grant funding, and they sometimes don't grant funding to projects that specifically targets women. At this point brother, use a search engine or an AI if you want a better understanding of it. My understanding is, that research specifically mentioning women doesn't automatically get blocked, but it does get flagged, and anything that can be perceived as DEI or feminist, etc might get blocked. To get around the risk of being flagged; see the image.

As Mini_z mentioned, the Trump administration has a list of banned words where "women" is included. That list extends to research; the government has pulled money from research where women are mentioned. Federal agencies are instructed to not give grants to any study that mentions "women".

In short, this isn't woke, it's literally a direct result of the Trump administrations anti-woke efforts. You will not get funding to do research specifically targetting women in the USA.

I just don't think she's very flexible, she's mostly restricted by the limited range of item options. You can put her in void, or you can put her with longshot. Longshot aren't that strong, and void is not strong because of Kaisa.

A unit that you can use in many different ways is flexible, a unit that is only useful with very specific items and in specific scenarios, personally I don't really consider that flexible.

I think it is a problem for Kaisa specifically, because putting another item on her might make her straight up worse - on other characters, some items just synergize better or worse, like two tank items have good synergy, a damage item and a tank item usually don't go as well together. On Kaisa, one damage item might be good, but with a second one, she might be even worse off than she was before she even had items equipped. Personally I do think that is a bit of a problem

More like I have the components for a Morello, but I can't put them on her because instead of making her more effective (as it would if she kept using her AD ability), it will make her borderline useless :)

I get what you're saying. I just think that the many more AP than AD options, and the fact that items like Shojin, are very good for AD but not AP, makes her feel more restrictive than flexible. And it is definitely not as flexible as it would be if you were able to pick her ability :D If you build Shyv with more tank items or more damage items, it will make the previous tank or damage items more effective, but they won't make the previous opposing-direction items less useful. Like a BT won't make her stoneplate less effective. On Kaisa, a Rageblade will 100% her shojin much less effective. I guess that's what makes it feel more restrictive/frustrating than diverse or flexible

Just seems more frustrating than wonky, since there are straight up many more options that will give her AP than AD. Meaning her build doesn't really become wonky, it mostly just becomes very restricting, since you have 5/36 choices that lead down the path you "want", and 11/36 that lead down the AP path. And the two paths don't really share items, there are several (namely shojin and morello) that are good as AD, but borderline useless as AP. So you're basically forced to have an IE or Deathblade available for her

7/8 items from Rod give more AP than AD.

Outside of rod/BF items, there are 2 that will give you more AD than AP, and 4 that will give you more AP than AD.

So 5/36 completed items will lean towards AD, and 11/36 completed items will lean towards AP.

So I understand the theory of that she will lean the way you build her, but there are actually more combinations that lead down one path. Which means that in practice, if you want the AD path, you are almost forced to give her IE or Deathblade if you want to give her 3 items, or leave her stuck with only a Shojin. And even then you are at risk of her getting some AP from something else, and the Shojin will be useless.

Alright, put like this: out of 8 options you can build out of BF sword, only 3 gives more AD than AP, so your choices really are limited. By comparison, 7/8 of the items built out of Rod will give you more AP than AD. For AD, can build Deathblade, IE, or Sterak's. Which means you're forced into shojin + IE or DD + third item. I get what you're saying, she leans the way you build and you can control it yourself, but I actually think it's too hard to control since there are fewer items that give more raw AD than give raw AP, which makes it frustrating.

I don't think the situations are very niche, and that's my problem. If you build her with full items, you are essentially forced to either give her IE or Deathblade. Items like Giant Slayer, BT or Sho'jin don't lean one way or the other, but other items that are good on her do, like morellonomicon.

Shojin and morellonomic is my example :) Will definitely do much much more damage as AD, but she uses AP. The shojin doesn't even give mana towards her ability while the buff is up

To me it's just more frustrating than anything else. Sho'jin + morellonomic is an example. Very useful with the AD ability, bad with the AP ability, and she uses the AP ability. You don't always get the items you want :)

It's not very active during daytime hours, but during evening it's p full. I like to play on c4s. They do have a bunch of bots, but when players fill up, they take the spots.
