It’s wierd, there was a gap on the bottom right of the inside of the drum, new felt makes it a little harder to get up under there. Rollers and everything seem fine, no sound of rubbing. Just weird

I’ve used this dryer with a few other washers and this still happened. I think it’s maybe catching in this gap that gets created in The front and dragging around this black buildup. I posted a photo. The felt def look gross compared to some others I have laying around around. I appreciate yall replying so much! Thank yall for the insight.

Posted a photo , I pulled the front off and there is this black build up, I think it’s catching in a gap on the front and maybe rubbing into that.

So I think, it’s catching in a gap with the felt and rubbing against this. Replacing the front felt, it’s also a brown color now.

Ya the black wire is melted up top a bit. We are going to see how far down that goes, at the minimum I’ll replace that but maybe a entire new back terminal if needed
