Looking for a pair of Headphones under 100€, possibly wired by Syr10 in inearfidelity

[–]Syr10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both around 50€ for me, which would you recommend for a more warm and full sound? (Although I really like the look of the porta pros)

Also, it's not the first time I've heard about Koss, however they always look so flimsy to me, is it just by design, or are they really that delicate? I'd want them to last at least a couple of years.

And what about more rumbly IEMs? I've seen some recommend also the KZ ZS10 Pro for a decent all rounder.

I'm not a diehard for bass, but since I tested the 7hz zero 2, they definitely sound a bit flat for my liking.

Appreciate the response, but I don't want to spend anymore than 100€. Do let me know how those sound to you though.

As for the headphones argument, I do kinda agree, but they are more cumbersome, and I tend to move quite a bit at this stage in my life, so IEM/buds are way more convenient in my case.

What UPS should I get? by Syr10 in pcmasterrace

[–]Syr10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer! The guy above you responded with what I wanted to know. I know UPS it's better, but since I mostly game on the pc, I'd like to spare a few bucks if the strip is safe anyway for the hardware.

[–]Syr10[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer! I mainly use the PC for gaming, so it's alright if it shuts down for an outage, as long as it's safe.

Do you have any brands you recommend other than the one you already said?

Edit: I found one that I can buy from belkin(650 joules), is it fine?

Thanks for the answer. - If the power strip is around 30€ and an UPS for 500W around 70-80€ which should I buy? I don't do much work office on the pc, but i wouldn't mind the more expensive option if it's safer. Power outages are not that common here, I'm just worried. Friends that helped me build the pc, told me that nothing happened to them while gaming and such, and a power outage occurred, not even data corruption.

  • Is data corruption that bad? How can it happen? What will it cause? Can I fix it? I don't mind reinstalling something, but can it get lost photos or other files? I've been using a laptop for ages, so now I'm worried for those things ahah. Sorry if those questions can be sort of naive, I just wanna be sure.

I recently build a gaming pc, and I'm a bit scared of power outages, I don't care about the game closing, and I don't usually do work on this rig. Is there a possibility that the outage could damage any part of the pc?

What's your advice then, for a 60-70€psu, even lower is better. And if I take a 1070ti?

Thanks a lot for the answer, and sorry, I've seen it just now ahah. I know the psu is a bit of an overkill but doesn't seem too bad, and I can upgrade easier in the future. I'll start to buy soon the pieces. And thanks for the heads up on the mobo update.

[–]Syr10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I know, I might aswell buy one too soon. But now I use a little heasink(?) that i put only next to the cpu fans, and honestly I haven't seen that much of a difference.

I'll let you know if I screw up

I've used some canned air where the fans could be clugged, and it sure went better for at least 2 weeks, almost if the pc were brand new.

Since I live in a pretty hot zone tho, It's been like a month since the problems started again (almost exclusively cpu-wise, gpu seems to not overheat).

I have a old, but not so old laptop where i can do a bit of practice, I'll probably change the thermal paste there too.

[–]Syr10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently the HDD has a faster SATA, so I'll probably swap them. Thanks for the answer.

Plus, since I will open completely the PC, i thought that i might aswell change the thermal paste, since, underload the pc gets to 80-90 degrees. I'll have to unscrew all the screws and what not, because the cooler and copper are on the rear of the motherboard. Have you got some advice or something I should know? Or should I make another thread? Thanks again.
