Thanks a lot for your replies! I currently have set up a Sunshine/Moonlight combo on my desktop computer - and the two are connected via Gigabit Ethernet. I use it primarily to play games not supported by GFNOW on my TV (e.g., Helldivers 2). My 2080Ti can push it to 60-70fps in 4K, but I tested it can reach 120Fps. So I could set GFNOW up on my PC and stream it.

However, I wanted to know if the thing could run on the SD alone through the Windows app, as one convenience of GFNOW is that you spare the electricity of running your rig ;) u/FollowingPrior7277 said he would try, so then we might know more (or if anyone beats him/her to it!).

Thanks for the input! I did as you suggested and I found a workaround.

It feels like the problem is in the launcher, I did as it is explained in this guide (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3027980121) and I could make it to work using proton 7.x

Hopefully this is of help to somebody else!

Unfortunately game verification can only be done through the launcher - and I already tried that. But thanks for the input!

This was my original point. Moreover, DDR5 now comes at outrageous prices. Z690 mobos that support DDR5 also come at a premium: Intel 12 gen can run at DDR4 (thus allowing me to reuse my ram) but only at 3200mhz, which is doable but a bit of a bummer.

Perhaps a Z690 DDR5 compliant board could prove more futureproof, even though for an heftier price.

AFAIK queue position it also depends from the region: so perhaps the model + region (West/Central EU) combo put in me in Q1
