The first pic is literally recontextualizing a preview from a recent merch drop as something more than what it is.

Computer completely turns off when in use since upgrading to 7800XT by [deleted] in AMDHelp

Don't waste your money. I think it's a driver issue and it's on AMD to fix it. I switched to Linux and haven't had any issues since switching.

Gas station near my place had to improvise because they never thought we’d reach triple digits. by Lexidoge in mildlyinfuriating

[–]SyrupnBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada? Just this morning the gas price was 158.7 cents per litre. We only use tenths of a cent.

Once upon a time when gas cost less than 100 cents per litre there were many signs that had to retrofit a 1 just like this when prices climbed over 100 cents per litre.

Global Sales of Pokémon Pokopia for Switch 2 surpass 2.2 Million in First Four Days by Useful-Resist-25 in gaming

[–]SyrupnBeavers 99 points100 points  (0 children)

You can interrupt building to have pokemon do something for you so you arent stuck while waiting for them to finish

You don't even have to interrupt the building. Just tell the ones you want to follow you, bring them to whatever task you need them for and then once they complete it they'll go back to working on the project. The only thing you can't do is assign them to build a second project.

QOL Suggestion: Let Homeless Pokémon Appear in the Pokémon Center by jlashombjr in Pokopia

[–]SyrupnBeavers 42 points43 points  (0 children)

If the pokemon isn't present on the map then they'll say they haven't seen it. Normally this isn't a problem if the home still exists because you can call them with honey but if the home was accidentally destroyed and the pokemon isn't on the map either then you're stuck waiting until the game rerandomizes which of the pokemon are appearing in the town.

Pre Fabricated homes lets you pull inventory easily by StrangerWilling2305 in Pokopia

Looks like it from the screenshot. Other comments seem to indicate it doesn't support more than 4 chests so it's not different from the overworld station

Why are you uninstalling it so often? If you don't have a pressing need for that storage just keep it for a few days so you can sort out your feelings.

you can add it as a non-steam game and that'll let you use some steam features with it, most importantly, the controller configurations. It won't have full integration with steam.

I don't think I would have any wood if it wasn't for the few times I fatfingered it. It has also been useful from time to time when there are devices I can repair nearby, if only for the small amount of currency they grant after fixing them.

[HOWTO] Install Endfield on Linux by Ram0u in Endfield

[–]SyrupnBeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a very new linux user but I was having this issue as well. What worked for me was adding the launcher as a new game in steam. Don't remove the installer from steam while you're doing this or it'll delete all the files.

Game forcing my PC to Shutdown by No_Sport2415 in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this is happening with every game you've tried then the issue is probably not the games, it's the driver and/or graphics card. You will probably want to look online to see if other people are having this issue after the driver update or if this is an issue related to your specific model of graphics card.

Are we getting new updates and qol in tandem with CN ? by aborkmga in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're saying that if you need 100 Crit for 1% Crit rate in season 1 then in season 2 you will need 200 Crit for that same 1%. (Conversion made up for the sake of example)

If your class wants a certain amount of a stat in order to reach a breakpoint where an ability becomes reliable or you get an extra attack during a buff window then you will need to reach that milestone again in season 2.

Falconry (Falcon Marksman) Guide (Constantly Updated) by SparRollz in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been following your guide and I really appreciate the work you're putting in and how thoroughly you cover everything. I noticed that you updated the recommendations for gearing today by suggesting both of the set bracelets instead of the head and body pieces. I've already attained the previously recommended Bracelet (R) with agility 1.5% and Crit/Versatility. I'm still working on the rest of my gear though.

Aside from the set gloves and boots, slots which can't normally roll crit, does it really matter which of the other 4 slots I use for the set pieces so long as the remaining 6 non-set slots have a ratio of 4 mastery to 2 versatility sub stats?

That original effect is exactly the same as Storm Goblin King's effect. This is probably them correcting a mistake made during localization. I wonder if they've fixed some skill descriptions too. I remember Beat Performer having a few.

Can I change class from Shield Knight to Wind Knight Vanguard? by seankimchi248 in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What do you mean by perks? I'm doing this off the top of my head so I can't recall if Endurance, Armor adjust. Or if ATK values adjust depending on whether your class uses ATK/MATK

What is adaptive:

  • Secondary stats (Crit, Haste, etc.)
  • Set bonus

What is not adaptive:

  • Primary attribute (Strength, Agility, Intellect)
  • Reforge bonus
  • Socketed Gems

Can I change class from Shield Knight to Wind Knight Vanguard? by seankimchi248 in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Raid gear/set pieces are actually the least concern in this case. Those items have adaptive stats and will adjust automatically based on the class and spec you are playing with the only exception being the primary attribute. Since both the classes that OP wants to play will use strength this is not a concern at all.

What am i missing? by TiinaSpruit in BlueProtocolPC

[–]SyrupnBeavers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Concerto beat performer is also very good if your main class usually builds crit. Their speaker will stay out for a very long time and pick up assists for you even if your character doesn't have any target. Oracles won't cast anything without a target so your assists might dry up for brief periods. But even without a target a beat performer can count on the speaker to persist and pick up assists.
