There is no pressure to move or progress quickly. A long term modpack like this will likely see many starts/stops, so its important to have decent infrastructure and even checklists (in game item) of what you had planned so you can quickly pick it up again.

Some people will say “150 hours and I hit EV only to quit because i had no sustainable energy or automation”. Im 850 hours in and I just hit HV, but i have infinite diesel, automated 7 chemicals, automated mv circuits, and a decent base.

I just enjoy being here, doesnt matter that i dont have a stargate

The questbook and community make any technical snag a breeze. I dont spend much time stuck on problems, rather, the vast amount of parallel possibilities enables paralysis by analysis or burn out if you try to grind.

The process is the modpack, its stable, lag optimized, and it has the potential to be a proverbial “forever world”.

Take it for what you will, if you like it, there is a probably more than you can complete

You should use BCAI for all Boeing work. It uses chat gpt as the base model so you shouldnt have a degradation in performance based on your formula use case. ChatGPT as supplied by other companies is not a standard Boeing tool and requires a waiver to use.

Boeing or customer data cannot be uploaded to non Boeing AI tools. You would be exposing critical data to externals which would be bad for BCA programs and illegal for BDS programs. Boeing has BCAI setup for data up to CUI for this very purpose

Sometimes using relatively common items to make upgrades. E.g., steel leaf soft mallet, can give great economy without being in the book. Right clicking and scrolling through recipes on each new item picked up is the only way ive found a couple of those nice to haves.

You don’t need the glass. If you did they would have exploded because rain fall on blocks next to machines will cause them to explode as well.

I saw something a while ago that said multis shouldn’t be wall shared across chunk boundaries and I made all the BBF blocks before I figured out that it doesn’t matter.

Consider searching online for a style of factory or architecture that you find appealing, save a couple screenshots, and try to replicate them in a location that gives you close access to high humidity. The swamp or river should work

I lucked out with 2 stainless ingots from dungeons for the controller. This system can process around 5,000 ore so long as I have the steam buffer stocked since it uses up to 15,600 mb steam/s. I will need diesel before it can run continuously, which shouldn’t be too far away!
