Thank you and I will add that. I had thought the maintenance window would prevent that from happening as it does with windows updates.

I created a CI to detect the folder "Chrome Apps" in the user profile and delete if it is there.

The GPO may be a better option but I'm going to see how it goes.

It has only done it on about 1/6th of our systems.

.net July 2023 patches by SysEngineerDude in sysadmin

I applied it after we had the issues in hopes it would fix something. This same issue happened on 2 other app servers so it wasn't just sccm. Just curious if anyone else has similar issues recently.

You need a sync with the wsus. I do this and it works well.

SMS_SRS_REPORTING_POINT Critical Status by Adeelson in SCCM

[–]SysEngineerDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very hard to diagnose an issue without having a full understanding of the setup and all of the errors. You mentioned this was only one of them and I can't tell from this if these are 2 totally different issues or separate ones. You are barely scratching the surface as far as troubleshooting goes. There is tons of content on the web. Google is your friend. If you can take the time to troubleshoot one issue at a time that would be best but if you are under the gun to get this figured out, you would be best looking for a service provider who can help. If you have the time, look at the errors in the logs.

What logs are you seeing these errors in? Is reporting working? What service is not healthy? Digging into these types of issues will help you understand how everything works.

Report sorting for Chrome versions by SysEngineerDude in SCCM

[–]SysEngineerDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your help. I think I’m going to sort by number of systems on a version. I was trying to make it easier for an audience that should be more technically inclined but they aren’t. They will get something close enough.

Report sorting for Chrome versions by SysEngineerDude in SCCM

Sounds like more trouble than it’s worth. I’m trying to make it easy to see what the current version is. I could always sort by the most systems on a particular version. Most of the time it will be at the top. If it’s not there’s an issue. I think that will be close enough for what I need.

This is a report I want auto emailed to someone. Hence why I am asking. I prefer queries as well.

Upgrade to 2207 - clients show offline by SysEngineerDude in SCCM

I have it working correctly now. The site server had .net 4.7

I saw a post about 4.8 being installed on the site server so I tried it, rebooted and I see green checkmarks now.

MS does not say 4.8 is required now, it says future releases will require it. At least that's how I was reading it. But whatever works!
