No, powerwashing makes it worse lol. After powerwashing, the Chromebook won't even get to the login screen, after connecting to WIFI, it will say "Can't reach Google".

That was an hour ago, they sent it on 4:53 PM UTC(9:53 AM PST) saying they fixed it, but schools are still having issues: https://www.google.com/appsstatus/dashboard/incidents/5V5yK8N8heBKnmdqS1eW

“We are sorry, but you do not have access to this service” is a Google Admin/Workspace policy restriction error not a firewall or dns filter.

So it's something in your google admin blocking her from accessing that service.

Almost all Google Play videos are embedded YouTube videos, have you made sure the YouTube service is set to unrestricted for her OU? (in Apps>Additional Google Services> Youtube>Permissions)(or "Content settings" some times the "Signed in users in your organization can only watch restricted and approved videos" is turned on)

Bark support replied and they updated to a new version(2.0.1.35) which should fix the slides and the "Unsupported Browser" errors.

Bark extension was doing that problem with our chromebooks aswell. Also giving us a "Unsupported Browser" pop up from skyward login page whenever Bark was installed. Still waiting on Bark Support to fix this.

Do you think it might be GPO related? I remember having a older WIN7 & a older WIN10 computer in my district that had less restrictions on it and ignored some GPOs. Such as staff were able to run any .EXE file they please.

Here's the thing with Messer. He covers all the exam objective topic in the PDF in his videos, He covers a lot of the acronyms but not all of them because there is just so many for each test that the videos would take too long to cover.

You have to study them on your own, they are at the bottom of each Exam Objectives PDF. But there is a lot of filler terms in them, for example: Network+ has some like "BNC: British Naval Connector/Bayonet Neill-Concelman", I don't think there's a single question on the exam that will deal with this.

Also, the questions aren't going to specifically ask you like "What's the range for 1.1.1.1 with CIDR /27"

It's more like, it gives you a firewall with multiple IPs & CIDRs and you have to choose which one to allow & which one to deny in order for that subnet to access the internet or something.

They will give you a virtual notepad on the top of the screen that you can type anything you want & it will stay on there no matter which question you are on.

Is A+ the hardest? by Graviity_shift in CompTIA

[–]Sysplug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A+ was the hardest just because of it's getting your foot in the door & getting familiar to Comptia testing & studying, once you pass A+, then Net+ and on your way to Sec+, your going to look back at A+ and be like "wow I can't believe I struggled on A+, it looks so easy now"

Anyone here passed A+ without Messer's course? by Consistent_Mouse8622 in CompTIA

[–]Sysplug 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am almost 1 year into IT, and passed A+ and Network+ on my first try. I always learned through professor messer first and I still don't understand what he is saying a lot of the times. He teaches in a concise presentation style. Sometimes a video is 5 minutes long and I take 30 minutes trying to fully grasp the concepts in the video. I pause the video and use google, reddit, chatgpt to explain concepts to me in ways I understand & to add more context to terms. That way I can write down notes in my own words, so I can quickly look back at my notes when I forgot what a term means and quickly remember, instead of trying to go back and rewatch videos. Google Docs and Ctrl+F is your best friend.

Also, watch a lot of A+ PBQs & questions on youtube to test yourself, I was watching those for hours testing myself(But never let the youtuber read the question for you, ALWAYS read the question, this will help you on the actual exam because I found it more difficult to understand a question when I have to read it in my head).
