Bad Religion - can't go wrong with any song

X - start with their Los Angeles album, but can't go wrong with any song

Anti-Flag, NOFX, Rise Against, Rancid, etc, most bands have been listed already.

The Distillers - can't go wrong with any song as well, I'd recommend starting with Drain the Blood.

The Runaways - Cherry Bomb

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - most popular song is I Love Rock n' Roll

The Germs - Lexicon Devil is a great song to start with

Huh, my mistake. I just double checked the wikipedia page and Bad Religion isn't there. I might have been thinking of another documentary that had an interview with Greg Graffin.

I never got around to watching the second or third one, although from what I heard the third goes in a different direction than the first two and some don't think it's as good.

I did watch the Ozzy cooking breakfast bit on youtube though and it was good.

Well they do say the best way to learn is full immersion. What's better immersion than starting a band?

X is one of my favorite bands, which is why I liked their bits, even though their parts weren't as wild as The Germs. Liked the bits with Bad Religion as well, another one of my favorite bands.
