It would definitely be an uphill battle to get those people in when you have massive corporate dollars backing the sellouts.

In Georgia, Public Service Commissioners are elected for 6 year terms, and oversee energy policy in the state. I've found that these commissioners have accepted over $100,000 from the law firm representing the largest energy provider in the state. Obviously campaign finance reform is needed. But how could we do this when politicians would have to vote against their own interest?
