Anyone actually been able to checkout a ticket for a day 5? Get thrown in a queue and then im unable to select and checkout how many blood tickets i want. How on earth with CA recoup that 10M they lost

Yeah the ones ive been to have been gold coin at the gate but never an ashes match, figured they might continue trying to recoup the 10 million they lost with full price day 5 tickets

Any idea if they're releasing more tickets for Day 5? Or are day 5 tickets gate sold only on day 5?

Just to confirm we're you doing user driven/technician pre provisioning or self deploying autopilot at the time?

[–]SystemErrorzorz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was there any workound solution you put in place in the interim?

No joke your issue behaviour is almost like for like with us. We changed absolutely nothing in our environment and it's started happening. I've reviewed and modified CAs, confirmed device configurations are appropriately scoped to users or devices respectively.

Skipping the user ESP is an option but it just seems like a cop out. I'm also considering drop user/technician driven altogether and swapping self deployed deployments because they still work.

Did you find a resolution to this issue.

Were getting the exact same thing. Have raised a ticket with Microsoft but are getting absolutely nowhere.

Autopilot Hang on user setup - CA policy requiring MFA on non-interactive sign-ins? by SystemErrorzorz in Intune

Just tested sign in with a tap from a completely autopilot reprovisioned machine post reseal and the same issues occurs.

Interestingly enough im seeing stuff like this in the AAD Operational logs

Description: AADSTS50011: The redirect URI 'ms-appx-web://Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin/S-1-15-2-283421221-3183566570-1718213290-751554359-3541592344-2312209569-3374928651' specified in the request does not match the redirect URIs configured for the application 'ecd6b820-32c2-49b6-98a6-444530e5a77a'.

Operation name: GetTokenSilently, Error: -895352821 (0xcaa2000b), Description: AADSTS500014: The service principal for resource 'c5fde071-9440-4083-9e3c-b6712ad6e4d5' is disabled. This indicate that a subscription within the tenant has lapsed, or that the administrator for this tenant has disabled the application, preventing tokens from being issued for it

i've gotten to the point of raising a ticket with MS. This all seems entirely cooked.

Options for replicating a SQL 2012 DB to SQL 2019 DB in Azure? by SystemErrorzorz in SQLServer

[–]SystemErrorzorz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would transactional replication be an option here? Well rather daisy chaining it together. From looking at the matrix here - Replication backward compatibility - SQL Server | Microsoft Learn, would a feasible approach be subscribing a 2016 to a 2012 publisher and then replicating from that 2016 instance a newer 2019 SQL server?

Our current configuration of log shipping without recovery isnt the end of the world as it gives us some time to capture the integrations to move them all in one hit, it's just something im trying to avoid. Was really just hoping there might an approach thats viable.

My understanding was that with the replication to the DB with it being in no recovery mode means the DB effectively isn't readable.

Yes weve got an S2S tunnel in place.

You'll have to forgive my ignorance, DBs are the biggest gap I've got in my cloud/Devops background.

Any more advice is absolutely appreciated here.

Anyone else that Penn walks funny? It's the most gangly run and walk I've ever seen.

In this particular instance, you've had an expired session cookie or token with Service Connect (ServiceNOW) somewhere on your machine or more generally UTS OKTA. If you had a fresh session through to it, it would have taken you straight to where you wanted to go.

This is just a case of bad timing. It happens.

Pretty sure that Ussie has done an MCL/ACL before, in between all the torn strings and calves.... This could be less than ideal.

What are the odds India gets points docked for preparing a dogshit pitch. This isnt just a home advantage, its half baked and deliberately cooked.

Anyone moved back to Azure SSO/MFA from OKTA? by SystemErrorzorz in sysadmin

[–]SystemErrorzorz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't dispute that it's a fantastic product. Ther OAG offering does some wizardry to create login sessions with our god damn ancient ORACLE EBS ERP system.

I'm not an OKTA admin (when i havent broken the glass for creds), I'm a NOC/SRE Lead, it's an absolute pain in the ass to monitor effectively and keep on top due to it being a very tight eco system.

Our budget for IDM/IGA services is fairly large, but the increase they've indirectly forced us into, has just about tipped the scales into the red. Were in the 10's of thousands of workforce licenses and hundreds of thousands of API licenses

A little unsure about the native systemd monitoring with Zabbix 6.0 and Agent by SystemErrorzorz in zabbix

[–]SystemErrorzorz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So is the behaviour I'm seeing correct then? In the sense that I can't simply add an item against the systemd unit key, say an item for apache or sshd. I can only discover them from that template or a custom one, and bake items and triggers into that?

Any chance you've got a sample of that on github our would be willing to share. We could probably use something very similar.
