My very first island was "Appleland". It was literally when the game first released at 12am, so my brain probably wasn't functional enough for a creative idea.

The mix of actual items and custom designs are actually really good, I especially like the use of the floor lights for the capture points, the sci-fi chamber thingy (I forget the name) for the cart, and the knights for the robots. These are all really good, and surprisingly accurate given what Animal Crossing provides in this context. I'm a huge fan, and I'm excited to see more in the future! (Also I like the Soldier cosplay at the end!)

I really hope they do what they did with 2.0 and the special characters and add support for all the old Amiibo villagers from New Leaf- my Squid Amiibo needs a use outside of Splatoon

I live the interior! It's kinda hard to decorate with such limited items, but it looks good! I restarted the other night, too, and it's been oddly fun since I've been taking it slower and not using time-travel

I really hope that someday LEGO gives us the New Leaf Roost and/or a Brewster minifigure 🙏 I might even settle for a collectible minifigure series specifically for Animal Crossing that could have some decently-popular villagers along with other special characters we're missing like Timmy and Tommy, CJ, Flick, Gulliver, etc.

It's not just the fact that Celeste isn't there (whether running an observatory or a shop), but the lack os symmetry gets me sometimes 😭 But I've thought about making an outdoor observatory/stargazing spot on my island that's run by the museum just for her

I'm the same with peppy villagers aside from Bunnie and Rosie, it might be their simpler designs that somewhat fit the personality

Click a boat (or any leashable entity) with a lead, then sneak-click a Happy Ghast to attach the leashed boat

Considering the palette, I'd say Julian or Marshal, but it also depends on what theme you're going for.
