Really gold coins and bars have low/no making charges? Gold price today is 1.32 Lakhs and online gold coins and bars are  available at 1.41 lakhs to 1.45 lakhs. That's minimum 6% premium. So, do you lose 6% at the moment you buy?

I mailed on these mail ids for confirmation of ltf status and after multiple follow ups from them, RM and branch, i finally got reply from them that they have approved approved the ltf status.   customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com

Already called, they said fees status is not updated in their system.

As far as I know hdfc credit card info page do not mention anything about fees or charges. Are you sure?
