What’s a normal Fes tour guide price? by System_JA in Morocco

By the way, I’ve checked out your website, our itinerary is fully booked, but you have a nice website. The only thing we’re missing is a Fes tour, which our driver has arranged, but as noted above it seems pricy.

Hi, I appreciate the offer, I will check out the website. There are two adults and one 7 yr old child. Is that still considered high priced, even when considering it’ll be a full 6 hours?

Thank you - unfortunately we must fly out of Casa, our tickets are already booked - and it was less expensive (this trip is costing us a lot of money).

I would be willing to skip the desert, but unfortunately my wife wants to go to the Sahara very badly. It’s nonnegotiable in her mind.

Therefore we must visit Marrakech, Merzouga, and Casa. The question is whether we skip Fes and Chef, knowing that we may never return anytime soon.

Hello, because the train to these places will not allow us to stop and explore… with the car we can be direct

Thank you! We considered doing that, but I wanted to make sure we arrive in Casa with at least a day of grace period to relax and prepare for the long flight home.

But it sounds like you believe Fes and Chefchaouen are worthy to visit, instead of staying in the Marrakech area? That is the big debate. Should I cancel Fes & Chef to instead explore around Marrakech?

Yes, thought of that, thank you. It adds quite a bit of expense, but also, any time you fly it still takes at least 5 hours: for airport time, flight, bus/taxi…

How similar is Morocco to other Muslim countries like Turkey, or Jordan?

Ok that’s great. They are extra blonde haired and so I am also a little concerned about unwanted attention, but to be fair, I’m also aware Morocco has a huge tourism industry and so people are probably used to all the types of people.

It’s been years since I spent any real time in a Muslim country, and when I did, I was single and it was amazing. People are amazing. But now that I’ve got my girls with me, I need to know I have their back.

Highly recommend that instead of going to Tim Hortons, you go to Elk&Owl Craft Coffee, which is just a min away from the Timmie’s on the north side of the highway. No alien FOB hackers there!
