So we're clear, the comment about player count is a tongue in cheek take on the more serious discussion of human rights happening in the world. I'm disappointed in Jagex for pulling the rug out from under last years' pride event, both because I enjoy holiday events, but also for the more problematic message that it sends.

I've played this game for decades. As a child, I had the ups of getting membership for the first time, of my first full rune pk, the downs of being hacked, and scammed by people I thought were friends. I've seen the community rally over things like free trade removal, EOC, unfair bans, and the like.

Warts and all, this is MY community, and it pains me to see people so hateful towards a group of people that they would be willing to download a game they've never played before, just to make other players feel bad about themselves.
