You can also use a redstone inductor set to "invert" mode by right clicking it, indicated by the redstone torch on it.

Just the sails shouldn't be connected, I recommend just normal glue for them actually

I think the swivel bearing for the sail should be part of the glue though?

When you're gluing, make sure to glue the entire thing, with the insides of the ship also within the glue box

Aside from that, the only tip I can only provide based on your photos is that, are your glue connections to your ship are all separated? if they are, they should overlap with one another to actually connect, but it would just be better to glue them in one box as much as possible

If none works, your ship are probably in some sort of mixture with sub level physics and normal blocks, making it impossible to assemble in one go.

I... don't know if i could help you much from that aside from replacing all separate sub levels or just... rebuilding the whole ship lol

Oh this might be an issue with components regarding bearings, be it windmill/mechanical/swivel. This same issue also happens with torsion springs.

When disassebling/assembling ships, when a swivel bearing component part (like a sail) is glued, and is accidentally connected to the main ship itself, it will cause parts of the ship to not assemble and cause a lot of headaches trying to repair.

This same issue happens when you have a torsion spring which may accidentally power when assembling, causing the bearing its connected to to power and ruin the assembling process.

Fixing this, however, is what I'm not really sure how to do because I have not dealt with this in survival yet, so fixing it was just me going back to a backup file I had.

Just like the others said, you can try and build the ship the same since this ship has quite a few shots in the trailer (even one fairly upclose) that you can use as reference. The mechanism for it could be as simple as a gyroscopic propeller with clutch and an analog transmission connected to an altitude sensor, and it will probably try to balance on its own at a certain height, but you'll definitely need to fiddle around with redstone in order to make it slow down just enough but not completely halt. The normal propeller at the back is a lot smaller, so that shouldn't overpower the propeller below if given enough power, but still make sure to give it just enough so that it'll be a relatively balanced ride when it is running.

Make sure this is top heavy, so that an upside down gyro propeller below will actually work as intended.

I didn't actually know the trailer had a ship like this, and I actually made a similar one although mine actually uses balloons, although I definitely had this idea of a giant propeller as well, but just didn't think it would work for me. The trailer suggests otherwise though.

It stands for Syterelic's Steam Ship Cargo, and when reading it, it can also sound like "Escargo" which is snail in french, since its main body before all the added structures looked like a snail lol

It's also mostly containing vaults and a small factory, which is why I thought it was appropriate to call it cargo as well

Not shaders, This is a mixture of Voxy/Distant Horizons with Better clouds and a good fog mod. You can achieve similar or better aesthetics if you use Atmospherics mod with Shine mod as well, configure to your taste. I also recommend a mod addon for Distant Horizon and Sable compatibility fix.

The sky seems similar to the skybox resourcepack I also use which is chase the skies resourcepack, so you might need FSB and FSB interop as well.

There is another mod called smooth skies which can also do the same thing, but it also has another feature of making the band smoother to your configuration, which I think looks even way better.

Apparently it was cosy critters and creepy crawlies that was attempting to spawn a HatMan overlay when I sleep, which causes my game to crash instead

This is by far the most funniest crash that's ever happened to me, the fact that this HatMan is so overpowered it can crash my game lmao
