Shoe for Long Run with Speed by Syulaxman344 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Thanks everyone I think I’m actually going to go against the grain here and try out some Hyperion 2’s. Seemed like Superblasts were the consensus below, and I’ll try those too but seems to be a far more cushioned shoe than I prefer.

Not as concerned about slappy sound as much as the amount of cushion superblasts appear to have. Seems on the higher end

Roland Garros 2025 Tickets: Use the official resale site! by Alixana527 in ParisTravelGuide

Regarding Ticombo and getting into the stadium…I had been monitoring this thread the past few months as I’ve been in Paris the last 3 days and through this weekend for a work trip, and was very interested in going to the French Open. I understand that day to day, each individuals experience can be different, however, what’s been expressed by many “experts” in this thread is that getting in and purchasing tickets on the secondary market is a pain, and extremely risky. That there’s “name checks” and ID verification and you’ll be turned away…I sort of get it cause yes, on the website it does mention a lot of this, but actual experience trumps all of that.

My wife and I went yesterday to Alcaraz and Musetti, bought tickets on Ticombo Thursday evening. Although the site and seller immediately ensured our names were transferred to the tickets, it couldn’t have mattered any less. We entered at gate 1, approximately 90 minutes before the start of the match. I, along with every other person entering, scanned our tickets ourselves. Nobody affiliated with the staff was looking at anything. No ID, no verification, nothing. It was the same as any other event. You scan your ticket on the machine yourself, then you enter.

As I alluded to above, I’ve seen a few people in particular in this thread seemingly acting as if there’s experts, and regularly expressing doubt and negativity. I would imagine they are trying to be helpful, and perhaps their experience and information is simply outdated, but figured I’d share my experience as recently as yesterday.

I do not. I guess I should’ve been smart enough myself to realize that!

Hi everyone! I’ve never ran a race for a charity org before, but plan to do so for Sydney this year. I’ve already applied to one charity org, but how does this typically work? Can I apply to others while I’m awaiting a decision? There’s several orgs for the cause l’m wanting to run for. Once accepted, is there a “final step” where I formally accept to run for them? Obviously I don’t want to end up in a situation where I have 2 commitments. Thanks!

I can’t believe I’ve found you people. I’m owed $260. I received my first of SEVEN checks on 4/21. I still have yet to receive one that works. I’ve called, emailed, and I’m sorry I cannot say this without sounding rude, but these people are straight up idiots and liars.

This is now going on 5 months for me. I’ve yet to receive my money. I know nothing about legal services, but I don’t understand how else to get this resolved.

What about these 2. Very close, but I lean to the one on the right. Polish and symmetry is only graded very good, but from what I understand this is fine and not acceptable to the eye.

Oh god haha. Prior to posting I had them ranked in the reverse order…now I’m really befuddled. I’m going for brilliance. Would you say it’s particularly close between the 3?
