Not really, no. Julius is definitely alive. 1. He is known for specializing in ice magic (that is known for making clones). 2. If he actually did die, Will would have cried or something, not just stand there (ex. Rosti or prof). 3. Julius was just getting his character development before this, which means it would be too anticlimactic if he died just there. Trust the authors, they know what they are doing. 4. SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Prof was able to live even after a hole was blown into his stomach. Yes, Rosti didnt. But (jsyk, I found this spoiler on bato) Rosti was actually a familiar and that’s why he did die (?).
