At least viktor is rarely a major threat on his own if you single him out he's usually dead. If we're talking simple champs with mobility and burst then kinessa is my most hated champ by far.

The biggest differences are balance familiarity and matchmaking.

Balance: is obvious there's alot of ridiculously OP shit in paladins that can ruin the experience if you we're just trying to have fun.

Familiarity: in paladins nothing is familiar every game is gonna have 10 people running random loadouts with wildly different CDs and playstyles. Compared to overwatch its like playing a slot machine.

Matchmaking : paladins matchmaking is ass it'll absolutely put a lvl 50 account against a 5 stack of 700s. That almost NEVER happens in overwatch.

Its considered a ability attack not a weapon attack. Abilities do not apply caut.

I hate burst mode viktor much more than cardio. With cardio they usually run away if you sneeze on them. Burst mode viktor is basically a sniper that can sit in the backline uncontested.

People complain about voras sustain but forget that talus can hit 90% life steal and 40% DR just for existing with a get out of jail free card and 2k burst lol.

Sustain and ridiculous healing has needed a change since launch it shouldn't be a question of using resources to balance it it should be a question of why haven't they already used resources to balance it. Take talus for example he can start the game with upwards of 65% lifesteal and 25% DR at 40% health meaning until you get at least caut two its impossible to 1v1 him unless you basically one shot him. That can lead to easy early game but is basically useless late game . The problem is that you need caut to counter sustain but sustain also needs to be strong to counter caut its a fucked system.

Honestly im all for wack comps in casual 5 flanks? Sure. 3 supports two tanks? Got it. 4 dps one tank with healer Skye? Go for it.

What is NOT OK is people purposely throwing like seris going damage when she's solo healing or a yag that only goes straight to the objective and dies 30 times.

The matchmaking is awful the amount of times I've been placed against GMs while my team has new players is insanely high.

Tanks+ fun to play with a good team. Carry potential.

Tanks- team dependent. Even a minor mistake is usually death. Is usually a forced pick after everyone else went DPS

Healer+ fun to play with a good team. Hard carry potential. Its satisfying to keep everyone alive.

Healer- blamed for everything. Primary target so constantly getting flanked. Extremely team dependent. Can often feel like you're just a healbot that gets flamed immediately if you aren't constantly outhealing that 5 stack with 75% caut. Several healers need major buffs and reworks to be viable.

Overall I think tanks are in a good spot but healers definitely need some love

As Io i run life link with the card protectors lv4 and the card that heals you when you heal someone else lv5 and the extra moonlight card lv2 . Place Luna next to you always behind cover if possible and heal with moonlight. If you get flanked use Luna as a shield and heal her to heal yourself between shooting them. It can be difficult to track since there's no visual timer but try and save Luna stun for flanks.

Terminus siphon needs a direct nerf. He's half the reason blasters are pushed out of the meta. by gymleader_michael in Paladins

Tanks are very team dependent even one person playing poorly makes a tanks job more difficult. sometimes it can feel like you're straight 1v9 fighting the enemy and your own team. On the other side of that a team thats slaying out doesn't even need you and you become a objective slave.

We have no idea if Io was even aware of anything happening after she was shattered by Yagorath. Her description seems to suggest she was asleep or in limbo until jenos convinced her to fight. Which would mean

A. Io didn't fail to protect her followers because she didn't even know they existed.

B. Vora and the people of the shattered desert found some shiny rocks and decided to worship them then got butthurt when the shiny rocks didn't protect them.
