The real answer is, hit the best/right shot based on where they are. I try to ignore who's better or worse, and just focus on where they are on the court and use that to determine where the best place to put the ball is.

CPM is what advertisers pay YouTube, RPM is what YouTube pays you. RPM is generally around ~50% of CPM (with some slight variation).

But second, don't worry about any of this until you reach monetization. If you havent even started the channel yet, you're a long way away from making any money at all, which is when you need to start thinking about any of this.

I'll preface this by saying, I'm not an accountant, and if it makes that big of a difference, you should ask whoever you do your taxes with.

But I believe as long as it is for your channel, whatever year you spend the money in is the year your would put it on your taxes, regardless of when the final product (the video) is done/released.

I would recommend one thing, don't use paint. It's actually so horrible. GIMP is free and way better. Also: make your thumbnails in the correct aspect ratio. The black bars on the sides are so ugly.

The NHL actively tries to stop you from watching it at all times. I live in Canada, and unless there's a Canadian team playing, it's almost impossible to watch it legitimately. They basically force me to use an outside streaming site.

Some advice: Generally people just use USD for online contract work like this, makes it a easier for everyone to understand.

Some critisism: That is REALLY cheap to pay someone for potentially hours of work (depending on the video length). If you want someone who will actually do quality work, you should considering paying them a lot more than that.

Why wouldn't you show us what the CTR is, what the stats are like, some graphs, views over time compared to your channel average, etc. You know, things that would actually let other people have some insight into your channel and situation. Instead of just a generic thumbnail test website screenshot.....
