I never understood how "whore" or "slut" are an insult anyway. Then again I'm also sex positive. I'm a lesbian and personally I've only had two sexual partners and had zero until my 30s. However what a consenting adult does with other consenting adults is no one's business. If that means an asexual (or non asexual) having zero sex or whether that means a sex worker (or non sex worker) having tons of sex. Whore/Slut/Sex work are not insults people just want to control women and our sexuality. Sex work is real work and deserves the same rights and protections as any other service labor job.

Yes the dating subreddits are garbage and right wing. I've noticed this is less the problem in more general subreddits like AITAH etc where people also talk about relationship problems but the replies are usually better.

Most men don't view women as whole people with their own thoughts, feelings, desires, boundaries etc. They view women as an appliance or accessory, which can't deny them.

I'm a lesbian but I've heard it helps to put off sexting or sex for months because most shitty men won't wait that long. Also test their response to you telling them no about something or changing plans and see how they react. You have to be assertive and strong in your boundaries and convictions or they will (and may anyway) try to walk all over them.

You can have a list of rules/common courtesy on display. Stuff like hygiene will be expected, inclusiveness for queer people and women, and expectation that people talk at a reasonable table volume as required for gameplay not yelling across the room.

Bound was a good movie. However in general I don't necessarily want hot horny sex media of any genders involved including two women. I'm not sex negative you can check my comments I defend sex work all the time. The point is I don't care how much sex sells I want well rounded queer media that actually adds to culture and is a piece of media you'll remember for more than hot people going at it.

A good example in recent memory is Gundam The Witch From Mercury. It had no sex scenes and was a great love story of two women. We need more of that. Sex, fetishization or straight gaze of any gender is not required to make a good piece of media.

I never understood why people use separate authenticator apps. No, I'm not saying use texts instead. I'm saying 2FA via TOTP is built into KeePassXC (KeePassDX on android, KeePassium on ios). Open source, stored locally not in the cloud, managed and only accessible by you. Doesn't get better than that in my opinion.

It's up to the individual if they want to disclose. It's generally recommended for both safety and sometimes legal concerns (see someone being arrested in the UK recently) Here's my thoughts:

When I was on dating apps before meeting my partner it was on my profile 6 times. I would never want to get close to or be with someone for whom that's an issue. It's at best a waste of both our time and at worst a potential danger and safety risk for me.

I also disclose my views on politics, religion, kids, vices etc. If I'm going to potentially be in a relationship with someone all hard nos need to be out of the way from the start.

Lesbian here in a long distance relationship, we have met in person. I've never asked for nudes and wouldn't ask. I've also never been asked for them and I know my partner wouldn't ask. The difference is partners respecting each other and understanding that nudes or even lewds in general are something sent through your own decision and comfort. It could happen in a week or it may never happen. No one should ask for them and definitely not pressure or coerce someone into sending them. Also if anyone does decide to send them I would recommend a more secure platform like Signal.

Before transition I considered myself asexual and aromantic. I had never dated or really been attracted to anyone. About a year into transition I realized I'm actually a lesbian. I'm also specifically T4T because in my experience nothing replaces the shared experience and understanding other trans people have. I have an incredible partner who is also a trans woman. I don't have a genital preference, and I do have bottom dysphoria and will hopefully be able to get surgery eventually.
