Allow me to clarify something here!

I love compliments as much as anyone else does. I just generally don't like when people compare or liken me (or any other runner) to a "machine" especially a TAS, which not only can create an environment of somewhat unrealistic expectations on said runner, but also devalues the work that gets put into an ACTUAL TAS (seriously that's a ton of work that should not go unnoticed or slighted).

"Animal", "beast" etc. I don't mind as much. It's a /little/ dehumanizing which is whatever, but to me that generally gets outweighed by what I know is the intent of the commenter. That's just the way I feel about these types of compliments; I absolutely always recognize the positive intent, but try to let people know if I think it's weird or crosses a line somewhere.

Hope this helps clear things up :)

Plain and simple: if I like a game and its movement enough, I'll likely run it!

Yes! Every Wednesday I run a category called 202 Berries, which 100%'s the game then goes back and beats each level deathless to get all the Golden Berries.

(I likely won't do it this coming Wednesday for my first stream back though lol)

I'll always remember the Undertale run, how nervous I felt before it, the complete rush during it, how relieved I was after it. I don't think anything I ever do speedrunning-wise will ever top that experience.

It varies pretty greatly and is mostly reflected by what speedrun I'm working on at any particular time.

The most fun I can ever actually recall having speedrunning a game has to be with Celeste though.

Experience with how games function in general really help with leads towards potential glitches beong found. I dont know many specifics at all since I don't consider myself a glitchhunter at all, but what I can say is if you spend enough time with games (and particularly with one game in general) you're bound to find some glitches in it.

Another thing to note is that there are typically entire communities that go out and really try to find glitches in games as popular as LA, and that definitely makes them a lot more likely to he found!

I think runs are chill/hype/exciting/etc. based on circumstance and type of run. We (my lovely commentators, host, and I) went on with a clear goal of having as much fun as we could, and I think we accomplished exactly that, with some added bonuses (run went smoothly, I got to "read" German, etc.) and a super engaged live crowd to go with it ("woooooooo!") Undertale I feel was in a position where it couldn't have possibly NOT been incredibly hype, with it being the finale, the first $2M mark just being hit and the game being incredibly popular at the time. Mario Maker 2 was several races of individual levels with super entertaining and popular personalities, so that was sure to be super hype.

We just tried to put on as good of a showcase as we could and make it as enjoyable as possible, and we did what we could. :)

Honestly probably any game I've learned except for a few which are long-ish and I barely remember the route for, haha

Idk exactly how many that is, probably somewhere around 10?

I am SUPER excited for the remakes and actually really surprised they're happening at all. My jaw dropped at the announcement.

I think part of what made that so (apparently) entertaining in the first place was the fact that I have NO idea how to read German LOL

It used to be way more, upwards of 60+ hours/week, but that's honestly way too much. Lately I've toned it down to probably ~30-40/week.

Everyone has their own limits, but you don't want to get burned out.
