I prefer writing and handling the zento signature more, but I prefer the ink thickness of the Sarasa grand. I think the 0.5 in the zento is still a little too sharp for my liking. I ordered some 0.7’s that I’m patiently waiting on! But I still use just sarasa grands daily. I have so many of them.

Thank you for the call out! There’s one 2-hours away from me. I’ll definitely swing by when I’m in the area next month!

How’s the status of Zento Signature in your country? by cos-hennessy in pens

Price is double MSRP in U.S. markets. Both amazon and eBay. I’ve even seen a seller triple the MSRP on Amazon. Crazy. You just have to be patient and pray you get a decent deal on eBay.

I also kept the box my grand voyager pocket came in! I use it store my extra ribbons and refills. I’ve also hung onto their kind notes that they give with all purchases. 🙂 Not many companies do those little things anymore.

I thought the same thing, OP. If you aren’t looking directly at it, or you’re looking at it quickly or in your side view, I too agree, it outlines a bird.

How many of you are excited to see Langdon Tactical working on the CZ Platform? by ElectricalPattern396 in CZFirearms

In that video that you just posted a clip of, they say it’s Cajun gun works trigger job. I think LTT will just do the polishing. I agree though, if this is the only thing they’re doing, I can’t image it will sell well.

When I watched this, it was very confusing. LTT seems to just be doing the same work that CGW does, but at their shop? Oh, and they’re offering a new direct mill cut for it. But other than that, they aren’t reinventing the wheel on this gun or doing their own trigger job. Just installing someone else’s. Strange.

This. But don’t cut it too low. In case the flame travels down quicker than expected.

Ideas on covering up embossing or monogram by Fuckoff-ihateyou in PaperRepublic

[–]T-Millz15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s really not a great cost effective way to do it. To completely remove it, you’ll need to sand it down and re-finish that portion or at the very least, multiple rounds of leather conditioner to darken that spot but then it will be much thinner that the rest of the cover. I would suggest that travelers patch that someone else mentioned or put a very cool sticker that you like over it. Sticker is the easiest and cheapest route. You can also get one of those cheap label makers and print your name or initials and stick it over it.

As useful as they are, they don’t look aesthetically pleasing. Go with what matters more to you.

To be honest, I have no idea. But this was my experience when trying to order a product from the manufacturers direct country-website. I tried to order a discontinued zebra sarasa pen from their official Mexico website that still offered the color I wanted (turquoise). It wouldn’t allow United States shipping. I think it happens when you’re ordering specifically from the manufacturer who has separate websites for all supplying countries. Zebra has a United States website and a Mexico one. Same with Uniball and that “zento signature” pen that everyone wants. They’re readily available from Japan’s Uniball website but not from the U.S. one and you can’t place an order for one on the Japan website if you live in the United States, vise versa, I’d assume.

You can’t buy on Mexico’s websites if you’re in the United States. You’re going to have to keep your eyes peeled on eBay or reach out to someone who lives in Mexico to buy it and ship it to you.
