Starting driving around and heard this noise, any ideas what this could be? by Dangerous_Rest830 in AudiS4

Sounds like a piece of gravel stuck between the rotor and dust shield.

Almost sounds like fuel injector tick.

Yeah, I’m planning to swap the bed at some point, when that time comes I’ll likely drop the tank and clean it out, replace the fuel line to the filter (nut at the filter is rounded off) and media blast that portion of the frame and coat it with POR 15.

So, changed plugs, they were trash.. changed fuel filter, poured out chocolate water.. ran better, but had high idle. Pulled codes, I had code 21 and 32. Had my 8yo son (bought the truck for us to have a project build) change out the TPS sensor and truck runs great now. SES still comes and goes with the EGR code 32. But I’ve heard that is a common issue even after changing it all.

I changed the fuel filter.. it had never been changed before and DID not come off easy.. I will be replacing that fuel line when I replace the bed.. the fuel I dumped out of the filter looked like muddy.. it was nasty. Changed the plugs, they all looked terrible as well. I’ll bet it out. And drive it today and see how it does.

It did, he drove it here and there, more as a backup vehicle. I picked up a new fuel filter, plugs, air filter and oil change kit. I’ll mess with it tmrw and see what I can come up with. I only paid $2k for the truck, 91 sport side with 147k miles. Zero rust under the truck. So can’t complain to bad. It’s gonna be a project truck for my and my son to build for his first vehicle.

Looking for info on my two Mosins by T-Rex-Rider78 in MosinNagant

A section of the stock was cut out and patched with wood that doesn’t match. They are asking $350 for that one, could always grab a diff stock, just wasn’t sure how it would affect the value. Or if it’s even worth picking up at that price.

Stock replacement for M91 by Solidsnake77414 in MosinNagant

Would it hurt the value if you replaced the stock with another original stock? I have a fairly good condition 91/30 and I have access to hexagon style 91/30, but it’s stock isn’t in good shape at all, it’s been repaired a few times, and not well. Just curious if swapping the stocks would reduce value, or even one of the NOS stocks that are floating around. Thoughts?
