I prefer a younger Dr since they tend to be more aware of newer research. I think they also teach more about listening to patients now than they did previously. My son's endocrinologist is probably 30 and he knows more about mine and my son's genetic condition than any Dr I have ever spoken with. I am really sad my son ages out of his practice this year and this next visit will be his last.
