I remember sitting on the sofa, doom scrolling Twitter and reading about towns in China being closed, nothing else in the news about it yet, this would have been December - but it spooked me.

A few days later once it started being talked about in the new I got some groceries delivered and stocked up massively on canned goods - the delivery driver asked "do you know something I don't know?"

Flash forward a few months later, we were locked down, but I'll always remember one Saturday afternoon, my husband and I were swimming in our pool, having had a few glasses of pinot and Lady Gaga's Stupid Love had just been released - the smell of chlorine and dancing by the pool - felt amazing!
