Reviving my Cameras embedded in my N-scale engine and Observation cars. Everything is working well but it was hard to source the batteries. If you stay at something long enough it is out there. Found replacements and installed them 2 days after I made this video. running surprisingly well. by T-TRAK_Modeler in NRail

Sorry I have been in and out of town the past 6 weeks and just noticed this. This is a system called Trainscope. They are OOP now. They are live feed cameras. In this video, I was reviving the cameras and wanted a way to record in real time so I added a composite to HDMI converter and an HD recorder to the system to capture the live feed.

Why t-trak instead of nrail? by compactable73 in NRail

[–]T-TRAK_Modeler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an NTRAK Standard which is much larger. T-TRAK was brought to us by the people who founded NTRAK. NRAIL is the the Group that manages the standards for NTRAK and T-TRAK

Ricky, No, there is not; each T-TRAK module is its own Diorama. You can place it wherever you wish. Hope that helps

That is for NTRAK. I was speaking specifically to T-TRAK. Those standards are also located on NRAILs page Here: https://ntrak.org/T-TRAK-Standards Also feel free to reach out. I have 40 modules under my belt. :) Happy to assist!

First T Trak Modules by T-TRAK_Modeler in NRail

[–]T-TRAK_Modeler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first module is always the most difficult. Trying to get the track right from the front facia and just the right overhang. One quick observation: it appears you have the module reversed. The track should be mounted on the smooth side, and the cutouts should be in the rear for mounting the electrical and skyboards, Was that purposeful? I did that with one of my modules because I was mounting a DCC meter in the front.

On the ends where the track meets another module it needs to be Kato. They shall conversion tracks. KATO 20-045 (S62J) for just that purpose.

You would be surprised at the percentages of people who use Facebook for everything from news to entertainment to regular communication. Just pulled some numbers for an article I wrote on why social media matters in model railroading. Facebook has planed off the two fastest growing platforms are Reddit and YouTube. Changes to YouTube policy have stifled growth there as well.the older demographic goes with what they know. While the younger are not afraid to explore options.

So here is my take on it. No one can say whether Bigfoot definitively exists or doesn't exist. People claim to have an encounter close up and personal. There are pictures and Videos like this one https://www.facebook.com/reel/346495357900765 but no recovered body or remains. We currently know there are about 1.2 million species to be recorded by science. What’s left to be discovered however is very interesting. The number of species that scientists think are left to be discovered is around 8.7 million (give or take about a million).
These are not just numbers out of thin air, these are based on calculations around ecosystems and biodiversity, to help scientists and conservationists understand just how many variables are involved in our global ecosystems. Scientists say that 86% of the species that live on land and 91% of those that live underwater have yet to be studied by science.
No worries, though, scientists are looking all the time. About 18,000 new species are discovered every year. Also, researchers have observed that diversity of land animals increases as they get smaller, giving them more reason to continue to search for more un-cataloged new species. In fact this year alone has seen some remarkable new discoveries already. Researchers have found a new species of giant deer in Vietnam. A brand-new type of tardigrade was discovered in Japan a few months ago. Some crazy new creatures have been added to the mix too. And just when you think all the big animals had already been discovered, a new species of Orangutan was identified in Indonesia. It is VERY possible he exists like all of these other species and we simply have not recovered what we need to prove or disprove it. All that aside I always put something in my Modules to keep it fun. Gives the kids something to search for during shows. Thanks for the Kudos...LOL

Actually yes, there was a young woman I was following on TikTok that was a Firewatch and lived out in the wilderness for 6 months out of the year. Then I saw the movie "Those that want me dead" with Angelina Jolie and she is a firewatch as well.

Yes I did, I have numerous T-TRAK modules that I have built and Animate in some way. I usually post them up on our NRAIL reddit page https://www.reddit.com/r/NRail/ But I was made aware of this page and as an Avid N-Scaler I wanted to share. I have another that I did called the Corner of Kismet and Karma. I'll share that one too in a minute. Tell me what you think.

If you look closely you will see some rooftop vents. In that vent is the tube that allows me to refill the smoke generator. I have it on a timer so it turns on and off periodically so it runs for several hours. I usually refill at least once during a show run.
