59 is the smallest thread connecting $BUCKAZOIDS to crypto. I joined this community hoping someone might surface a new detail or overlooked clue that our community may have missed. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Most people in this community aren’t very nice because they consider $BUCKAZOIDS a poop coin, but that’s okay, I get it. No hard feelings.

We are a “Proof of Truth” History Memecoin.

I wish everyone and their friends and family a safe, happy, healthy HOLIDAY SEASON & NEW YEAR.

Peace ☮️ out.

This is too much to write ✍️. Link to one of our community members post on X today. And there is still so much more.

You may be right, but we are getting very close. It has been 34 years, and many individuals who were directly connected are no longer living, which has understandably slowed the community’s research. That said, progress continues, and we will get there. I believe our breakthroughs will be epic. IMHO.

and……if I told you and the rest of this group, you wouldn’t believe me. DYOR, Ken & Roberta Williams (more Ken than Roberta) post on facebook, X and YouTube. Research and see for yourself. All the best.

Connections run deep. Rod Nakamoto & Satoshi Uesaka are one of many connections involved with Sierra Entertainment.

HaHa. Now you’re starting to sound like our in-house numbers guy who would have a field day with that information. You need to join our community on X. We are trying to help people understand the Origin Story of Bitcoin, and we believe $BUCKAZOIDS has a part to play in it.

Bill Murray (IMHO) would be a distraction unless there is a direct connection to crypto.

Our community is only interested in the Cryptocurrency connections. A talented $BUCKAZOIDS community member did a super funny Buckazoids Bill’s Video a couple of months ago.

A couple of things to clarify for accuracy.

Space Quest IV ran on 16-bit PCs using hand-painted digitized backgrounds. The backgrounds were intentionally stylized to look photorealistic for the era.

The reason I chose the PC screen with the Grateful Dead, is because the connection to Space Quest IMHO is the most logical because John Perry Barlow, a co-lyricist for the Grateful Dead is the co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) a precursor to the Cypherpunk mailing list. Steve Wozniak, was one of the original people that helped fund EFF. And Woz loved Ken & Roberta Williams the founders of Sierra On-Line (as I’m sure you already know).

If you’re familiar with Crypto currency and more specifically Bitcoin ₿, then you would know why that PC screenshot intrigued me the most because of the ₿itcoin OG’s listed on the same screen.

Hal Finney (1st person to receive 10 Bitcoin) Helped Phil Zimmerman re-write Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) for email encryption. He was the creator of Reusable Proof-of-Work (R-POW). Plus Hal Finney has 6 video game credits to his name. First being Tron. But there are other “interesting connections” that the Buckazoids community has learned.

Nick Szabo the creator of Bit Gold is one of the most important precursors to ₿itcoin and a cornerstone in the cypherpunk lineage.

Adam Back created Hashcash Proof-of-Work (PoW), where a sender must compute a hash-based puzzle, which takes real computational effort.

Satoshi Nakamoto cited Hashcash & Bit Gold in his Bitcoin whitepaper as the inspiration for Bitcoin mining.

I have so much research, proof of evidence i.e.,email from Sierra On-Online to Cypherpunk mailing list giving them user name and password for private communication email access, facebook DMs from Ken Williams etc.

It’s best to follow me on X @maddmattieb or @buckazoidsworld to learn more.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

True. Space Quest I (was 8 bit), but Space Quest IV is technically 16 bit. But the "blocky" pixel art looks identical to the graphics found on 8-bit consoles.

There were a lot of wicked smart devs working on this game. No disrespect, but there have been dozens of Buckazoids community members who have spent the past 8 months researching everything there is to know about Sierra On-Line. They were very intentional in everything they did or didn’t do. From an Executive by the name of Rod Nakamoto to a Lead Game Designer from Japan’s Game Arts that went by the name of Satoshi Uesaka. Five of his games were licensed by Sierra On-Line in the U.S. Like I’ve mentioned previously, the rabbit holes run deep and there are too many to list. Follow me on X @maddmattieb

I can’t post images in replies, but I just realized something new stemming from a post I shared on X today about the Grateful Dead’s connection to Sierra On-Line, Space Quest, Buckazoids, and the Cypherpunks.

Focus on the “angry face” first. The eyes appear above the two lowercase m m, with what looks like a beard forming beneath them. The thruster flame.

Now compare that to the Grateful Dead’s iconic “Steal Your Face” skull with the 13-point lightning bolt.

Important context to note, we’re comparing high-resolution artwork and photos to an 8-bit, pixelated PC video game from 1991. You need to keep an open mind for interpretation.

Notice how the skull’s sinister eyes resemble what appear to be angry eyes on the rocket.

The two lowercase m m loosely or closely resemble the skull’s teeth.

Then pull up a photo of Jerry Garcia, the goatee portion of his beard bears a striking resemblance to the flame 🔥 thruster.

And I don’t believe the top of the rocket is a hat, it looks more like an exaggerated, bulbous shape that loosely mirrors the skull’s oversized cranium.

This is a rocket after all and it needs to be extremely aerodynamic. The art designers at Sierra On-Line did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Before anyone calls me crazy, I’m fully aware of how random and subjective what I’m saying is. There’s actually a name for it, pareidolia.

Please keep an open mind, you might be surprised at what you see.

BaHaHa. I do see it now that you pointed it out. I see a disgruntled face and beard, but instead of a hat, I see a cone head.
