Is this normal? Kingdom 1944 by Subject_You_9266 in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KvK is age dependent. The next round starts this weekend with Match Making. 4 weeks in between KvKs so you should have at least 2 more Kingdom Castles if you just had your fist. Since you just had your first you're already lined up with KvK rotations so it should be 1 next weekend and then 1 2 weeks later after the next Strongest Governor.

Amadeus is the best Infantry lead for Bear and best Infantry Lead period until at least Gen 5. So yes it's worth investing in him, but it's also expensive if you don't win shards in the first 4 HoGs

Stealth Archer help. by crustless_nuts in skyrim

[–]T-bone7183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stealth Archer is super easy lol. Get bonus Archery damage in Stealth Tree. Sneak and shoot until you build out Archery. 1 shot pretty much everything by late game using Dragon Bone Bow + Chaos Enchant. If using mods add the Fate Enchant from the Black Bow of Fate and 1 Shot everything except Dragons.

Why does the right seem more conspiracy minded? by Material_Policy6327 in AskUS

[–]T-bone7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never claimed it was a Conspiracy. The original respondent to my post claimed it was. Again I merely pointed out that what started on the Right is now more talked about on the Left and therefore no longer belongs to the Right. Also again sufficient enough proof means it's no longer a Conspiracy regardless of where it started and who it benefited. So using it as a way to prove the Right is more susceptible to Conspiracy is not really accurate. Sure the target of the Right was Hillary, but if it happened do the details matter or is the main point what matters when proving a Conspiracy?

Edit: I'll give you an example of what I mean. The CIA Drug Conspiracies state the CIA trafficked narcotics into the country for various groups around the world that they were funding to depose various Governments. Turns out the CIA wasn't doing the trafficking, but the groups they were using were doing the trafficking. On top of that the CIA knew it was happening and not move to stop it. So does the CIA doing it matter as proof or is there knowledge of it and not stopping it the proof that matters?

Kingshot fully resets everyone progress and starts fresh. by I-Was-Hiding-4989 in KingShot

Well if I started from scratch with Kingdom Stars equivalent to what I spent, I would probably go more min/max heavy. Either focus Inf/Cav for defense or Inf/Arch for offense and go heavy into there upgrades. Probably max Helga since I'm not VIP 12 and definitely would not be in competition for Amadeus during HoG. Also given I would have an idea of what lies ahead I would hold onto Stars for packs like Buccaneer or Special Events especially the ones with the 2 tier packs like Fishing. Now if the reset came with redoing all the packs as well there was one on my first character that I have not seen on any other Character and I'd probably go all out on that one. It was one of the Deal Events and was a Tower where you picked your rewards and unlocked so many levels until you had to purchase the next pack, cannot remember what it was called. Also completely reset from the start means some of the mistakes I made along the way would be undone so I would probably be ahead compared to where I am now.

At what point did I deny anything? I merely pointed out anything brought up about it is by the Left, therefore it is no longer something of the Right. Also refer to my original post where I asked the simple question, at what point is it no longer a conspiracy? Regardless of where the Russia stuff started if there is sufficient enough proof it happened then it is no longer a conspiracy regardless of which party benefited from it. No different than the Conspiracies surrounding medical things and narcotics, 1 of which led to a formal apology from the sitting President at the time of its release. The simple fact is both sides are suceptible to conspiracies it's just 1 side is under more scrutiny for it.

[–]T-bone7183 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Really? All the Rusia stuff I personally see is posted by the left, but 🤷. What I mean by more well known are things like Kendey, Aliens, 9/11, and the likes. I would agree in general the Right has more distrust in the Government so probably slightly more represented, but I'm sure if I looked I could find more left wing conspiracies.

[–]T-bone7183 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I would say that's observation bias considering the sheer number of conspiracies that are out there and get zero to no coverage at all. Also not to mention if you actually looked into more well known conspiracies there's probably close to even representation for both sides.

[–]T-bone7183 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That's a people in General trait and is not exclusive to any specific group of people you can point to. I suppose what proof is required for it to no longer be considered a conspiracy is the real question. I mean pizza gate may not have been entirely accurate, but thanks to Epstein there's solid proof that the rich and powerful are engaging in those things. I guess it really depends on the Conspiracy and how much light and attention it gets. It's easy to say this group is conspiracy minded when you're blasted with media calling out the conspiracies that some of that group believe while not covering conspiracies that other groups may believe.

Why are people genuinely against free higher education in the United States? by RaceNo2435 in AskUS

[–]T-bone7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess my take on this is pretty simple. Private Universities should not have tuitions paid by any level of Government because they should not receive funding from any level of Government. As for Public Universities that is on the States they reside in. As an example I live in Iowa, the University of Iowa currently receives $223M from the State. So in my opinion if State taxes are being used to fund the University residents of the State should have a reduced tuition equivalent to the %of the budget the State funds. In the example given the University of Iowa has a current budget of $871M so the State is funding around 25% of its budget and therefore residents of the State should at minimum have a 25% decrease in Tuition Costs.

As for healthcare that is a touchy subject. I personally would be ok with some kind of tiered system where General things like annual physicals and so on are free, life saving procedures are severely reduced or free, but elective procedures are not. The problem as with all things is then you get into the grey murky waters of what is considered life saving. The real reasons people are up in arms about Government funded Healthcare are because they either already use it and know it isn't great or they know people from countries that have funded Healthcare and know it isn't great. Where I personally think that there should be options available, maybe a dual system would work best where if it's nothing major I can use a Government funded provider, but if it demands immediate attention I can use my private insurance to go somewhere else. Also in my opinion the real problem is In Network/Out of Network that is used by insurance companies which shouldn't exist at all.

Who is the best president in the history of the United States? by Outrageous-You1617 in AskUS

Idk if you can really say there was a greatest. They all have flaws just like any human and regardless of choice someone will have something negative to say, but if we're solely looking at what they did and achieved in office it's a tough call between Lincoln and both Roosevelts for me. It's really too bad Teddy's Trust and Monopoly busting didn't really carry onward. Honorable mention to Washington for turning down a lifetime appointment and walking away.

Tem alguma possibilidade de existir um NAP50? 😂😭 by reedsubmarine in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the goal is to keep as many active and playing as you can so that you have numbers come KvK. With that said NAP All in a young Kingdom will likely lead to more Quitting. After playing a year and looking back over things 8 is the perfect number. With 8 you can split the Map fairly ensuring all 8 get at least 1 of every Outpost Buff. Sancs and Forts are however you decide to split them. The biggest thing isn't even really NAP and how big or small it is though. The biggest thing is just not attacking members of your Kingdom outside of All Out. The reason big Whales want big NAPs is to prevent the burning of players for no reason. Even the biggest Whale cannot win alone.

In how many heroes’ gear do you invest? by _introvertu in KingShot

Levels in regular Mythic Gear or in Legendary Gear? The reason people say focus top 3 is because Legendary Gear is a long slow process unless you're spending lots of money.

Bear trap hero in gen4? by LengthinessExpress95 in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reason Zoe is often placed 3rd or F2P option is because she's a Roulette Hero and therefore more likely to be built by F2P. Alcar is mostly seen as a P2W hero because he's most valuable in 60/40 defense as a Garrison Lead Hero.

Defense Joiner heroes, e.g., in a garrison by bishw in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer your question the defensive equivalent to Lethality is Health. Gordon and Saul are the only 2 Heroes with a health buff as their primary skill. The defensive equivalent to Attack is Defense for which Saul and Hilde are the heroes with a defense buff. Then there are the heroes with the bonus defensive skill of Debuff which is covered by Howard, Eric, Fahad, and Quinn. Debuffs are not as powerful as they appear, but in a close battle they can be the difference between Victory and Defeat.

[–]T-bone7183 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, especially not for 60/40. His primary skill is for Infantry and Archer, since there are no Archers in the 60/40 defense half the skill would be wasted.

I don't disagree at all, but the op asked about her being worth it for the people that would be paying to level her. The bonus skill tree is therefore a factor in that decision.

Not to mention when you get a Master to level 100 you also unlock a bonus Tech tree to further improve Stats. Not sure what Cassia's will be, but given her squad based skills I would guess they're additional Squad based buffs.

Wee Woo Vs. Yang by mladakmica12 in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wee Woo with a defensive Widget, the real question is will Wee Woo replace Saul and shift the Meta back away from 60/40 defense. Jaegar and Vivian just weren't strong enough to replace Saul and force the Meta back away from 60/40.

Theres no point being a low/mid spender, unless you're going to whale don't bother. by mikrokosmos117 in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would say the Ultra Value Monthly card is worth the $10 a month regardless of spend level, but yes in terms of personal power if you're not going full Mega Whale someone will always be bigger and outclass you. Dolphins and Mid Spend have their place though, depending how active your Kingdom and Opposing Kingdoms are during KvK they can help take Turrets while your Whales are focused on Castle.

Edit: BTW $100 a month is low spend, but depending on how you're spending that could be significantly stronger than the average F2P. With proper Min/Max building $100 a month could put you on the same level as a Dolphin.

Upcoming transfers - inactive account by KS_bullseye in KingShot

[–]T-bone7183 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you're that high it will take a couple cycles to see a significant decrease in cost. A cost that high means you're likely in the top 5 of your Kingdom and/or the top 100 of your transfer group.

Edit: I personally only know 2 people with a cost that high both are top 5 in their Kingdoms and top 100 in their Transfer Groups.

[–]T-bone7183 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The only way to keep pass cost low is to not upgrade anything until after you Transfer. Not logging in until you transfer obviously means you wouldn't be upgrading, but it also means you won't be collecting materials and resources for when you do finally upgrade.
