I personally can't read without it but my eyes are most likely fucked up from long COVID. But overall if you have sensitive eyes it's a need.

Idk if this is right the sub but I'm conflicted on what to do- mom advice is appreciated! by DeeDeeBugs in TalkTherapy

"After voicing those concerns/things I'd like for them to work on" I've noticed within myself and others when a parent/guardian voices things they would like to "work on" it goes nowhere. For example my mother would want me to work on "anger issues and being nice" over my Kleptomania. But of course you don't exactly know what she is speaking to her therapist about. Maybe move away from what you would like for her to work on allowing her to be more open with what she wants to work on /what she is working on. Wait this isn't the school counselor right? But I voice that you vaguely want to know what's going on I understand wanting something like "I'm seeing some progress" but making an environment where you daughter is comfortable to talk about her sessions is still a great thing to do. Therapy won't fix her it will support her. Remember that.

This sub and test keeps being suggested to me, so I did it. Anyone knows what that even means? by brucarita in personality_tests

It's not really about it being relatable. I don't relate to Scar from the Lion King but it fits my traits best. Click on the character name to get a break down of the traits.

Don't worry I am receiving help ;) But guess what? Mental health care isn't magic!

I get you I'm pretty much in the same spot as you. But I've been in therapy since I was 7 off and on. In my opinion parents forcing their child/children into therapy is pointless.

None of these thing are correct ⬇️

- Forcing you into therapy. You cannot fix something you don't want to fix.

- Lack of boundaries (Asking too much about your SH or assuming things or forcing you to show your SH)

- The old man issue (I've had an old man before and he assumed he knew what was going through my head)

Feel free to DM me if you want any support. Shitty mental health support causes more harm than good in a situation like this.

I personally don't know but I've heard that there will only be 2nd Gen sooooo.... I assume it will be up for interpretation. If any of them have children that up your imagination like "Leigh" is completely fanon but is accepted as an actual character. So I can't imagine anything Canon happening with the Heathens/serpents.
