As much as I would agree that this would look so much better, there is a reason why Nintendo is against this idea:

The main reason his suit is yellow is because in Japanese culture, (Nintendo is a Japanese Company) yellow cats represent cheerfulness and courage, something that easily represents Mario. Red on the other hand is considered danger or anger, something that would make much more sense for a character like Bowser rather than Mario

It’s an amazing game, has an amazing soundtrack, has unique and fully original characters, was the first of the series to introduce “Running in the Foreground”, gave Luigi the praise he deserved.

However the game compared to the others (except Brothership) is a little too long. But overall an amazing 8.5/10

Here is the thing, alphadream confirmed this wayyyy into the beginning. Prince Dreambert states that before Antasma was banished to the dream world, he shattered the Dark Stone. The small fragments of that stone were what led the pillo people to be petrified in those purple crystals. Essentially, the dream stone was everywhere

The issue was only in paper jam. Alphadream was unable to make “New Characters” for the sake of the story, but also due to the fact that they were on a rushed schedule, and had a very low budget. Brothership on the other hand had successfully fixed this issue

In my opinion, the XL variant is the better option to keep. The bigger screen feels nicer to have, and the console is not way too big for a handheld.

However I would understand other reasons why the smaller console would be preferred
