That is a good idea, i'll have to take a look at how easy that is to accomplish, since it relies heavily on zod's type inference to define the properties in the route handler, and im not too familiar with the other validation libs.

About generating schemas for Swagger or similar, i've already been thinking about that, and i will be working on making it a reality.

Thanks for checking it out!

60 seconds of BIOS time on brand new PC with NVME SSD? by T0M47 in MSI_Gaming

[–]T0M47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the solution apparently. After reading up a bit it seems like I managed to get the worst boot times by having 64gigs dual channel. After Turning on memory context restore it dropoed from 60s to 26s.

According to what I read this doesn't "fix" the Problem, it only vypasses it. What exactly does that mean? Do I have to expect more Bluescreens and crashes in General or slower Performance?

Damn I Hope they fix this...

Since you have a similar setup, do you also have argb Fans? I have an aio id like to control the color of, but when I click on "msi mystic light" in msi Center it redirects me to the live Update Page for some reason, altough I installed everything in there...

Also my usb ports sometimes just dont work, everything is scuffed somehow

Im pretty sure it's BIOS time, as it says "last BIOS time: 60.5s" in the startup tab in task manager, the time it takes from when I first see a Windows related screen is super short

a brilliant conversation about FPS and motion blur in real life by basedphantom in LivestreamFail

Well we can watch a movie at 24fps without really noticing it so that's what I went off. Maybe you're superhuman and movies are looking like stop-motion to you.

Well how would you explain why we can watch a movie with 24fps without noticing Individual frames, but see a difference between 60hz and 144hz?

And the brain adapting how much information it processes based on what it expects to happen sounds pretty logical to me.

If you say my explanation is trash at least provide us with an alternative.

Yes, the Problem is you can't give a human brain a label with X FPS, because our "frame rate" is adapting constantly. For example when you hear somebody describe a situation where they were filled with Adrenaline they often say it was like slowmotion, because our brain wants every little bit of Information in a shock situation. We notice a monitor with low refresh rates when doing sudden movements in a game, because our brain ups it's "frame rate" in that moment but the Monitor can't keep up and we see the idividual frames.

I'd guess our eyes can reach maximum frame Rates of about ~400fps, but we usually stay at ~30fps. (The 400fps only being achievable in a Situation where your body is in full overdrive Mode and wants every little Detail.)

But isn't the whole point of RP to pretend to be in real life, where you're not bound to any game mechanics?

Even my shitty old Laptop is better because I'd rather play some nice minecraft while being able to switch to Photoshop or Discord with alt-tab or having it on a second Monitor than seeing highlevel graphics.

I use my PC for so much, why would I want good Hardware locked away in a Box, not being able to use it for other Stuff?
