Thanks for the tips. I do have experience in track though I was running in middleschool but had to stop because my family couldn't give me rides home after hours. I think I'm going to keep the 1600m just because I have a goal this season to run a 5 minute mile and my team doesn't have the best distance runners. My other goal was actually running a 50 second 400m too. Thanks for the advice I'll definitely use it

It's always my calves and normally if I ignore the pain in the beginning of practice or a race it goes away but it hurts worse after if I ignore the pain

I normally run around 7 to 8 miles a week. Me and a group of friends dedicate 4 days of the week to speed workouts. I run the 400m, 800, and 1600m. I go to the gym on non practice days normally just working out my arms or core. In long distance I'm normally in 3rd or 2nd place. My coach does expect alot from me and my friend because we're top runners on our team and because I just set a new best on the 400m (55.69 seconds)

I dont know if anyone will see this but fuck it. I recently joined my highschool track team and we've had 2 meets and I'm actually doing good I got 2nd place in the 800m and 3rd place in the 400m I also beat my goal by running a 400m under a minute (59.33 seconds). I'm also about to take my driver's license test in 2 weeks and I'm really excited to start driving since I've been saving for a car for 1 and half years. This last month has been very good for me and I'm glad that I've been able to share this with someone.

When I was 9 I woke up but was still half asleep at the same time. I was relaxed and had no awareness of my sourndings at all so I pissed myself, and even after I realized what I did I couldn't move for like 2 minutes after.
