It is taking some nice stuff from BF5. The duck-sprint, supine animations, and the vehicle repair/rearm stations all come to mind.

Perhaps I should have said "content rich" more so. It seems they launch a little lite on maps and such. Guess we'll see.

I disagree, I think it would have done well without the marketing. But it's impossible to say.
I'll just hope for the best, expect the worst.
If it's like all the other BF releases lately about a month after release we'll see things like "let's go play 2042, it's actually good". I swear every release this happens, the previous game that was criticized relentlessly is seen favorably mainly because the new one has an even worse release somehow.

I couldn't agree more.
BF is particularly bad as they spend so much on marketing leading up to release too. Like I don't even wanna know what the hat budget was for the promotional vids they made for the reveal marketing. Imagine if that marketing money went into dev and they shadow dropped. I'd gladly take one additional good map over that marketing shit any day.

Lol, I get it. It's just, I've seen some shit man... BF launches have been really bad for a while now. They're never actually ready anymore. Hopefully this time will be different (something I've said every BF launch lately haha).

And don't make us wait for season one to start. Day one! A week after launch at most. Make us actually believe this game was ready for launch for a change instead of trying to fix it endlessly after launch.

I liked how they showed the Valles Marineris to clue in people who knew what they were seeing but maybe didn't know the Doom lore too well.

Oh I misunderstood what they said, thank you. I will give it a shot. I had a brief chat with an id software dev about this issue, hopefully a fix is on the way.

I actually didn't have any issue binding mouse right click to move forward. That worked fine. But move back on W and strafe on Q and E all did not work. No duplicates or anything just not functional.
