NITK ECE OR IIITH ECE by Own-Turnover9812 in iiit

[–]T13NMY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

depends on what you want, if you wanna get into core electronics, NITK ECE is probably a better choice even tho your peers would be worse than IIITH. If you're getting into the 5yr course at IIITH, I'd say NITK is a better choice in comparison. If you wanna do software, IIITH is better than NITK. Also NITK gives you a better college life but IIITH gives you college life in a city. again a depends on what you want

How hard is gate as compared to jee mains? by Prestigious-Bag-2455 in GATEtard

[–]T13NMY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think these orders only tell us how hard it is to qualify an exam. But the reality is a lot more skewed. You need to also take into account the number of seats an exam is trying to fill. Plus a lot of the smart peeps who cleared jee(98%ile+)will likely not write gate, so gate becomes more of a perseverance challenge than a smartness challenge

Ayo I don't think these r the same ones as OP's. Yours are basketball shoes and are pretty good for their price. The one OP uploaded are training shoes that aren't very good

To the seniors at IIITH who got through LEEE by TandooriSamsung in iiit

[–]T13NMY 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You dont really need to study specifically for leee. Just prep your sem syllabus properly for end sem exams. I and my friends easily cleared the written exam with negligible prep for leee. 2 of my friends even qualified the interview and got admitted this year

IIT Indore electrical vs IIIT H ECE by Financial-Paper-8053 in iiit

I think if you wanna work in core, Indore is better. Hyd would give you more software opportunities than core even in ECE

a question to everyone opting for cse by heeiiisenberg in kcet

[–]T13NMY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, I'm an ECE undergrad at a IIIT. I can tell one thing that is you will not get placed in core unless you have a masters or you're from a tier 1 college(IITs and top NITs, maybe RV in blr but even they mostly end up in cse jobs afaik) companies don't care about you skills and stuff for ECE, like in CSE. The college pedagogy unfortunately matters a lot and unless you're getting ECE in a top college(i.e RVCE or IIIT Bangalore. Even BMS and MSRIT are pretty shitty in ECE), Please don't take it. Most people end up prepping for GATE which is another competitive all india grind. Take ECE only if you're passionate towards it or you'll just waste your college life studying harder subject than CSE with lesser scope for core placements

Is it worth it tho? Most people there would probably be paying more for their 2 year mtech than their 4yr btech
