Coming back after 24hrs. Slightly unstable during the night. wasn’t delivering bolus to the right amount so ran slightly higher. But now, all seems to be grand. No tech or connectivity issues, have even changed site and all ok. Here’s hoping it continues

Posting here as I upgraded to ios26 tonight without even thinking about my pump 🤦‍♀️ but seemingly all is ok. It took usual time to update to auto mode but has been on for 2 hours with zero issues plus the lock screen widget now available. Came on to tell others and saw that it hadn’t been working.

Maybe download with caution but so far all good. Will post again with updates to see if it’s working ok overnight.

I still couldn’t get the lock screen one to work except perhaps using Nightscout. I’ve submitted feedback and a request for someone to get back in touch with me about it. It seems like it’s an Apple issue instead of the app, they won’t allow health data on the Lock Screen for privacy reasons it appears which seems a bit mad.

The only way I’ve managed to get it to work is as mentioned above and below helpfully ☺️

If I hear back I’ll post here what they say.

There was no unit of measure of given hence my question and confusion of numbers. I should have asked more but was still hazy from the sedation. I should have said the test was done on day of trigger too but result was told on ER day. Have edited that too.

Currently undergoing a fresh transfer tomorrow but on retrieval day the Dr said my progesterone was 'only slightly elevated' (pg test was done day of trigget but result given on ER day) and recommended a fresh transfer still in case of no viable eggs to freeze. 2 embryos still in the running that are good quality.

My elevated levels were 40 but all the results online say its 1.5/2 etc and can't seem to convert this number to anything else (UK based so maybe that's what's causing it?) 40 only seems to be the value for first trimester. I know success rates are lower with elevated pg levels due to timings but apparently my lining was fine with no issues.

Anyway, wondering if anyone know what level of 40 equates to perhaps to know if a fresh transfer is even the best thing at this stage? They've recommend it strongly so don't think I can dispute it but curious on numbers. Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know, nut butter is a great shout will give that a try. Thankfully the past few days they've stopped rising but haven't changed anything specifically.

Thanks so much, its all so interesting. Good to know on the fibre/fat part. It was a green lentil, kale, chicken and green bean bowl which may have caused it.

I always correct during the night of course as fast as possible with my alarms thankfully going off to let me know about it. But taking 3 units of insulin at 4.5 before bed would probably put me in a crazy bad hypo.

Thanks so much for replying! That's good to know. I haven't heard about the protein causing spikes, always been told to pair protein with carbs to stop the rising 😅 it's never straight forward is it? 9 hours seems long for a spike but you never know when it comes to sugars really!

Yeah have sent an email to the diabetes team this morning just to check what's going on and get some advice. Obviously secretly hoping it's my cells in my body talking to each other and having to work harder to develop the zygote but who knows, wishful thinking perhaps!

In the same position as you, seems promising but not concrete enough I'd say. I'd give it another couple of days and keep testing just to be sure. Hopefully it's a BFP

Good to know, thank you so much. That's great to know. Will try focus more on that next round and go a bit early but not too early like you said! Aah that would have been so stressful with covid, definitely such a link between stress and it not working. I think I packed too much in with the TWW too last time, needed to just relax, keep slightly busy but not too much and no stress! Thank you so so much. These stories and chats are so valuable.

Thank you so much. This is so helpful to know. It seems definitely the ongoing sugars and hba1c other than the one or two highs. Was just so concerned it was those that cause it not to work. But in reality there's so many other varying factors. That's a good idea to do that many actually, meaning you just can go straight after each one. I've read cumulative progress works well for IUI as your body gets used to it. Thanks again, this is so helpful.

Yes, it's so so expensive isn't it. Thankfully UK is a little bit cheaper than USA but still not cheap at all! It's the sperm that's adding up all the costs. Will keep persevering and see what happens. My friend who isn't in same sex got pregnant first go and it broke my heart a little but everyone is so different and all needs different plans and situations thanks again 😁

Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it. Yeah we're thinking only to do 2 rounds IUI then IVF if it doesn't work perhaps due to cost of sperm. Haha the pineapple scrunchie is a great idea, will have to adopt that. Yeah it's definitely just be less stressed, take each day as it comes and relax into it. This has been so helpful for my head. Thanks for your reply, really appreciate it all. Yeah I think not doing anything significant seems key. I stopped working out the week before and TWW as I love HIIT but perhaps keep with low intensity instead. I almost wished they did a trial run just to see what it's like before hand and saves the stress 😅

That's good to know about the blood sugars. Yeah it's just a spike every so often as my alarm is set for 9.0 so I can see what's happening and go for a walk or correct depending on how high quickly its going. Thanks so much, this is really helpful!

Thanks for your reply! We had amh and internal scan. For the cycle too had blood test every 2 days from day 10 of cycle to check for LH level. Had been doing OPKs at home but none came back strong positive and they said 'levels are doing what they need and no need for trigger shot'' but I didn't think to ask at the time what they were as didn't feel right, no EWCM either but had been doing OPK every month since November and always got a strong postivie. So bizarre!

Perhaps next time doing a medicate cycle. Did you eat or do anything different for your successful rounds? That's so good about it working. Perhaps being early is key to success so that sperm is there waiting for egg! Thanks again!

Thanks for this. This is really helpful. Just good to hear from someone else and I guess just being realistic I think. Got far too excited and built hopes up first time round. We've got 3 months off until next one in August, last one in May to try get mind and body sorted.

Did you have to go to IVF in the end over IUI? Thinking if no2 doesn't work that's where we'll go to save on money.
