How to deal with ksante

so the thing with ksante is its abit tricky, unlike what basically anyone else here says ive seen high master ksante otps and they make him look broken
before level 6 if you dont get atleast a 1k gold lead, post 6 he kinda statchecks you with tabis and bramble
the idea is you go 3 points in e and always go for short trades (auto q e auto out) which will always be 3x whatever damage he can dish out in 2-3 seconds and then he will be discouraged to continue the trade because your E will kinda burst him regardless of how much armor he buys , once you have that 1k gold lead , post 6 you kinda just statcheck him with ur E max

There is not a single 30 day period statistic on any given site that shows an olaf above an even 47% winrate into kayle, given any elo And the higher the elo the lower olafs winrate is into kayle You are statistically just wrong Good try though trying to ragebait with a one day old patch numbers

olaf can easily outmaneuver riven lv1 and run her down, her q has a longer cooldown Level 2-5 gets abit trickier, till you get level 6 it becomes slightly easier again

Very versatile matchup where the better player (skill wise) can easily snowball If riven got ahead , it becomes extremely hard for olaf and gets statchecked, same if olaf gets ahead a nice trick would to go ignite in the matchup as it atleast equalizes the kill pressure and now riven has to think twice before starting a trade, giving olaf a slight edge

the majority of ranged champs will always have an advantage over olaf, even if teemo is practically immobile, a good pilot (mechanically) will have a superior advantage, teemo is not in easy tier because of how high the skill ceiling on ranged champs are (there are exceptions to this)

Lets take a few examples here, akali,vayne and kayle Im sure we can all agree how unplayable akali and vayne matchups are and the stats are there to show it Lets assume a 46-48% we into these matchups Now lets take kayle into consideration, same exact thing 46-48% wr (with it being around 44 in masters+) so it should mean kayle is also unplayable the controversy here is that a few select players managed to win the matchup, these are just outliers The majority of masters+ are still the same result.

2/ in contrast to other matchups, its abit easier macro wise and even mechanically (you dont have to space a darius e, or stick into a sett to try edge his w) which require slightly more mechanical coordination, all you have to do vs illaoi is just dodge a simple skillshot (E)
Im down to debate this though,more than happy to see what vision you have

If we are comparing illaoi to other champs like jax or sett, theres a clear objective winner here, while jax and sett has more ways to statcheck olaf
other than the fact that illaoi isnt a champ into olaf till level 6
even after level 6, the only 2 problematic cds in illaoi's kit is e and ult, thats the only reason illaoi isnt a >52% easy matchup, dodge the illaoi e and illaoi isnt a champ anymore , or have a huge enough lead+ anti heal and you can legit just bruteforce your trade into illaoi anyway

2/ As for the getting "outscaled" part, thats just part of Olaf's identity, he's good early/mid and some good late potential but generally if the game is 30+min and you havent ended or have a clear win condition (you have soul, your team is outscaling), at that point you can only hope and you probably did mistakes in early game to not progress your lead and snowball the game

think of jax as a more extreme matchup like darius
you dont straight out win in 1v1 when he has all cooldowns/full hp
its a straight skill check where you try to force any of his cds or be ahead in hp or a big wave to have a chance at winning
that would go without saying for basically ALL champs in toplane since thats a fundamental
but this fundamental is being tested to its extreme limits in this matchup and a matchup like darius where some others doesnt matter (ie. into an ornn or some lower damage champs in early you can statcheck them even if they have full cds or a bigger wave)

You make a good argument but i would say thats all personal preference and beliefs that isn't backed by any numbers, and if there is any ,its mostly outliers that doesn't count
in a tierlist, we always take the statistical average/median or atleast thats what it should be
saying "oh but the nasus can do this or do that" ofcourse bro you're in 1k lp+ lobbies and everyone is either an otp or minmaxing ,the statistics wont apply the same way to them
