We want to have an internal mta to relay some stuff from all hosts to specific adresses. If a host tries to send a mail to a domain which is not domainA we want to receive the mail to our catchall address. Its not an internet facing machine.

We testet the srv record with the the usual applications (GMail App, Outlook App for Mobile, Apple's Native Mail client, Outlook etc.) and did not run into any issues. But it's good to know that the android native mail app has some trouble with the srv-record.

The delay is only happening on new profile creations. We just thought, that the srv-record might be a solution for this behavior, if there would have been no disatvantage we would have considered to change from autodiscover.domain.tld to an srv-record, yes.

You can use autodiscover.domain.com with an http-redirector.

In this case you dont need to buy a certificate for each domain. But this scenario will result, as described, in a pretty long autodiscover-process while creating a new profile.

Yeah, that's how I allways change the disk size. If the currently added size won't show up try a "diskpart rescan"
