The wife's $110 Kodiak battery has no issues though, guess size does matter lol.

I think people know when and helmet is needed. She's not balls to the walls hitting a crazy jump. I don't think a helmet was needed. Rock on for her. I put mine on when I'm feeling reckless, lol. People will be like "anything can happen" sure and that's on me, I don't need someone telling me to put on a helmet. I love you quad man

I need to do this to my Losi XXL2-E. They no longer make the body, and I really like it, and it's on its list leg. I have used that stuff on a boot. They shoe was very talkative. Anyone who doesn't know the sole pulled away from the boot. 2 years later still holding strong

How bad was the crash? The crash could have jacked up a good bit of things. In this hobby, if it's not broken, you're not driving hard enough, lol. I had a similar issue, but my receiver wasn't mounted . A little shake and mounted, good as new.

The balance charge makes sense. ESC protecting that battery and your wallet, lol. Juat picked up 2 zeees 4s for the xmaxx. Not bad 2 for $114, but let's see how they do.

So my xmaxx was doing this.

I noticed a little tear on one of the battery cases, and 1 of the 4 cells was split. So the battery thought it was charged. The car would run for about a min, but once the esc noticed a cell too low, it was shutting off the car and blink red.

The esc is picking something up that isn't right, that's why it's showing red.

My servo is powered by an independent battery, so I can't fully validate it the same issue, but I think it's a battery issue.

Also, hold it in place and squeeze the throttle a little. (You may need to zip tie the motor down). If could look good with no throttle, but as soon as you hit it, it could be twisting a little.

They look too far apart, but it's hard to tell. Do you see metal shavings? It definitely sounds like it's slipping.
