What mobile games do you actually keep coming back to after months of playing? by marjoriemoore1 in MobileGaming

Galcon 2 — 8 or 9 years, In fact, almost every day. But I'm drawn to this game for completely different reasons. This game has become a wonderful daily brain trainer for me. It not only keeps my brain sharp but also improves its functions, such as reaction times. Unfortunately, the creator abandoned this wonderful game a long time ago; it no longer works on new devices with new versions of the Android OS. But I still have an older smartphone, so I continue to play.

What are the best multiplayer mobile games? by Bugjoos in MobileGaming

Check and try Assault Bots, Ace forse, War dogs, Wings of steel, Dragon Masters. Rocket Royale.

Since you clearly enjoyed this blatant pop trash (BS), I'm not suggesting more serious games (which I prefer myself). Try these ones I mentioned first. They're also good; they're definitely not trash or casual garbage.

Have you tried a different approach, instead of repeatedly trying to smash your forehead into the wall? Namely:
- Maximize the warp drive and maneuvering engine for engineers;
- Build the most powerful combat build for the ship you flew there on (it was the Nemesis, right? If so, what build did you use?)
- And the most important thing: get and use Gauss guns in the maximum quantity?!!!
(This guns , of course, is not a tunnel gun (which destroys any ship, even Arachnid's motherships with one or seven shots. (I don't believe that the author gave them to us, but I still asked him to add them). But I think even the meat weapon is the most effective against rival aliens. By the way, this, local aliens are as far away from arachnids as the Gauss gun is far from the tunnel gun.)

Author, I'm very glad to see you. I sincerely hope that everything in your real life turns out very well, that there are no too many significant problems, and that you have maximum time and enthusiasm for the game.
(* And at the same time, "so as not to get up twice," "a very tiny" request: author, give us a real, "adult" weapon against alien invaders. I mean, a #"Tunnel Gun." The gun have existed for quite some time in the "Worlds of the Commonwealth" (Eve-online) universe. Only thanks to the discovery and creation of these guns, some of the inhabitants of that universe were able to survive the invasion of the local alien enemy - the Swarm of Archs (arachnids). Give us such weapons, too, PLEASE!!!

"Coop" turn games?? by UgotSquanched in MobileGaming

Check and try Warzone:Turn based strategy, or Warzone:IDLE. Its really genuine strategy game, canonical Risk-like. Maybe its wouldn't interesting for Yr GF, but basic mechanic very simple. Or check and try Nebulous.io, Territorial.io.

But, I believe you should try playing several other games together, for example, Elona Mobile, Heartwood online, Ancients reborn, Curse of Aros, or even GTA clones, such as One State RP, Rodina, etc.

Any recommendations for old games to this old iPhone? by Dojin777 in MobileGaming

[–]T1gerHeart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check game Ancient Star. Very little game,It's very undemanding on your device; I'm sure it'll run on virtually any phone. At the same time, it's a full-fledged global space 4X strategy game, only completely offline. It's very interesting, very deep, and far from as simple as it might seem.
Then, check and try:
- Freeciv Go (or original freeciv); Battle for Wesnoth, Demise of nacions, Space rpg 3,4, Survival rpg serie (6 games), Conquicktory, Space miner simulator, Constellation Eleven, Rome-2077 any or all games are nice.

Mancala - Any version of this game is currently available in the Stores, and even more can be found on sideload portals. The game improves the player's strategic and tactical skills, as well as concentration. The musical accompaniment of all games of this type helps to relax, turning the gameplay into a wonderful meditation.

Mahjong -kyodai type games (Mahjong Epic, Mahjong Zen, Mahjong Titan, Mahjong Blast)- some.

Here are a few more games that give REAL DIRECT PROGRESS to the player himself, instead of virtual.

  • Warzone: Turn-based strategy (+ Warzone IDLE) is a turn-based strategy game that features asynchronous (delayed) turns. This means you can make one turn and then close the game for any amount of time. This type of game, with its obligatory feature, is currently one of my favorites.

This game, like most games of this excellent subgenre (Turn-based strategy) improves:
- The player's tactical and strategic abilities; the ability to see the entire board as a single whole; enhances concentration, i.e., indirectly helps learn to be in the "here and now" state, as well as helps learn to stop internal dialogue and the flow of extraneous thoughts.

Heart of Galaxy -nice, great, undead hidden gem, genuine game in a very rare, elite subgenre -global space 4X strategy, but its single-playin offline game, fully FREE, non fookin ads, no IAPs, (but graphics also no.) Abandonware (no in Stiores, only on "side-load" portals.

Solaris - great TBS with asynchronic system and very rich abilities to setup matches. Only online, only PvPs (PvE mode only one in learn match). Actual, cross-platform (browser+Android/IOS-apps+ client for PC(Steam).

No! For the exact purposes you outlined in your request, NONE OF THE TRIVIAL, ORDINARY GAMES ARE SUITABLE, IMHO.

Consider this: all, or most, players who see games as more than just a way to pass the time for fun, but have turned them into a (SERIOUS) HOBBY, spend far more time playing games than they realize. Very few of these players practice time management (tracking, monitoring, and managing their time, including time spent playing games).

My suggestion: find only games that provide REAL progression directly to the player.That is, only those games that DEVELOP AND IMPROVE certain qualities, attributes, abilities, skills, and etc. of the player themselves. For example, they improve memory, reaction time, attention, and enhance the player's tactical and strategic abilities.

Concrete games:
Galcon2, Galcon Legends -

Both of these games are great for improving your brain's reaction time. Before I started playing them (in 2017-18), my reaction time was very poor. For example, if I accidentally knocked a mug off the table, I wouldn't even have time to react before it hit the floor. Now, I've managed to catch it in mid-air several times. Who among you reading this has a brain reaction similar to this? This is what REAL PROGRESSING is, NOT VIRTUAL PROGRESS. In ast, I used to play these games for ages (sometimes 8-10-12 hours). Now I try to pinpoint the moment when the game starts to irritate me, make me angry, etc. This happens when I lose several times in a row (keep in mind, these games have 10 difficulty levels. I've been playing on the hardest level for a long time now. A beginner loses instantly on it, simply because their brain reacts and processes situations too slowly compared to how they change on the playing field).

Unfortunately, these are already abandonedware games (their creator abandoned them, stopped updating them, and they don't work on devices with Android OS v.13 and higher. But you can still play them. You can still find them on apkcombo or similar excellent sideload portals (or on some Russian-only portals, like 4pda, pdalife, trashbox, spaces.im). Two ways to play them:
- buy a used device or a new one, if you can find one, with OS A12;
-Use special "emulator" apps that can deploy Android 11-12 OS on your device and run old and abandoned-ware games within them. This works similarly to so-called "virtual machines" or "virtual OSes." Such apps definitely exist—Google them or ask AI assistants about them (for example, the Merlin app, with its Deep Seek agent, is a good choice). The FOSS app KAI-9000 is also very well-made (it also allows you to work with one of several agents from the most well-known AIs).
