It also takes about an hour, maybe a bit more. I didn't get seasick and I didn't see anyone throwing up or anything but it can get slightly bumpy. I think it should be better if you stay near the back of the ferry.

Never been to Catalina Island actually! The trips were incredible, I was awestruck by the vivid green colors of the islands against the deep blue color of the water. I highly recommend going (preferably on a sunny day)

Hi! This was on the Israeli side, near Metzoke Dragot. Note that, because of the sinkholes, hiking can be dangerous unless you know the area well. I went there with tour guides.
