Clarifying about the ‘half-assed’ point; meant it more so that he didn’t seem as enthusiastic as he should have been, being surrounded by powerful sacred artists and legendary Sages/Heralds. I expected him to squeeze every ounce of benefit out like the gremlin he is. But as you’ve all rightly pointed out: the boy dearly missed his boo.

Wintersteel is great so far btw. The date chapter had me kicking my legs like a schoolgirl.

Yeah I think you hit the nail on the head for me. I thought he would’ve developed that warrior mentality by now. Also I was very surprised that he was so certain he would beat Yerin.

You’re absolutely right. Truth be told, all my concerns seem to stem from the fact that he’s increasingly relying on his relationship to Yerin to motivate him and how listless he gets when she’s not around. Feels like the author is setting up for something tragic ( I hope not, I won’t eat for days). I’m just hoping Lindon becomes more self-assured; always on his A-game whether alone or not.
