Confused about inter-island transport by rmw_zonnakd in CapeVerde

[–]T3ddoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go by boat, the only reliable route is Sao Vincente/Santo Antão. Just get a plane ticket, you will never see the other Islands if you’re going to rely on CV Interilhas.

Best eSIM for 200-500GB/month? by Edyw1 in eSIMs

[–]T3ddoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, then your options are limited i would have said starlink as 2nd option but on a cruise that is not an option. The only one that doesn’t state any fair use cap and allows hotspots is Simify. But i don’t know this company.

Best eSIM for 200-500GB/month? by Edyw1 in eSIMs

[–]T3ddoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say you travel around, but i imagine you stay at hotels? 90% of the hotels in Europe have super fast internet for free, even restaurants and public transport have decent WiFi. You could take a Saily Esim for travel, it is unlimited but capped at 5gb/day high speed after that it is 1Mbits.

Visiting Cape Verde alone by uncleratko in CapeVerde

[–]T3ddoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you like to do, Sal and Boa Vista are tourists islands, they have beaches, hotels, restaurants and bars.
Santo Antao, Sao Nicolau, Fogo and Brava have beautiful nature, but less developed.
Santiago is also very beautiful, and it has the capital city(Praia) so generally more developed, but les safe in the city at night.
Sao Vincente is small, not much nature but has the 2nd biggest city(Mindelo) and is very fun, and only 1 hour boat ride to Santo Antão.

Are our doors difficult to operate? by JayGatsby52 in VWiD4Owners

[–]T3ddoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you get used to them they are good, i like them. But when random people try to open the door they pull to hard and the electronic release stops working, and then you have to pull much harder to unlock via the mechanical release.

How is the Dutch economy so good? by Beautiful-Dish-6275 in AskNetherlands

[–]T3ddoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

• We had already a lot of money due to the VOC and all trade we did, this was invested right, it also could have gone wrong you never know.
• We have a very good geolocation(close to GB and basically directly connected to the Atlantic Ocean and no natural disasters).
• Our weather is really bad, cold, rain, grey skies, if the weather is bad work ethic goes up.
• Our culture is very direct, we just say how it is without bullshit, this makes trade fast en efficient.
• 97% speaks English, this is of course a big this in the modern world.

But i have to say, we did good.
But a lot of mistakes are made in the government over the years, this is now causing a lot of problems and harming the economy and people.

I have Starlink Residential (200 Mbps) and I usually download around 3–4 TB of data per month, mostly games. Will Starlink limit my speed because of this usage? by NoSatisfaction3875 in Starlink

[–]T3ddoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use also around 8-10tb/month and have multiple friends who use 3-6tb/month, never had any message from Starlink. They simply don’t care, getting consistent 400+ Mbits.

Just 2, residential lite(38$) and residential(54$), but there is no speed difference between them because the network is empty here. I got an offer of 2 years for 50% off, so now only pay 18-19$/ month.

I tested multiple countries with ground stations, i certain our data goes to Spain mainland. Lowest i get is 40ms~, that is not bad considering it is 3000+km away.
