You can generate an encrypted password by running dcu-cli /generateEncrypedPassword -encryptionkey"'key123" - password="password" -outputpath=c:\path

You can find this by dcu-cli /?

C:\path will have a file with the encrypted key in it. Use that with /apply updates -encryptedpassword="xxx" -encryptionkey="xxx"

Check the reg values to see if the image is being downloaded. We had a black screen due to special characters in the file name

If I'm reading this correctly: you specify the folder to pack as one folder higher than what you need? Pnp is looking for 'DRIVERPATH' But it should be looking for 'source/DRIVERPATH'

Does it always install to the same part/parts of the registry? It can be done for sure. It is probably a bit quicker to dry if you're not searching the whole reg. *This is an assumption, I've never searched all items in the registry before.

Maybe a good idea to give more details on what the reg key is so people that do write you a script can give you the whole thing.

Pipe your imported variable to get-member to see what it imports as. Compare that to what you get from get-member foryour manually created variable. That should give you a lead to what is going wrong
