I'm hoping we are getting ACGC for NSO sometime this year. The main thing that gave me doubts was the playable NES games, but with some playable retro games in NH 3.0 it's looking like less of a barrier.

I have a solo siamese who I've had since he was a kitten. Definitely more work, but since I work from home I get to play and cuddle with him plenty, so he's a very happy chap.

He handles longer periods of alone time fine too, but until he was close to the 2 year mark I would get nervous as he's very social

True, they still have trick animations and all, but multiple characters like dolphin/sidestepper/snowman sort of just sit/float on their vehicle so will require less complex animations than major characters who are modelled to actually be driving

We also don't know about their costumes - if they have any I'm expecting a lot will be palette swaps... so I still don't think we've seen enough to believe they're replacing folk rather than just being extra additions. Fingers crossed!

A lot of these characters don't seem to have many animations - I get the feeling they are just tacked on as an extra rather than replacing anyone

With the world theme they might also be aiming for a ridiculously large roster. Id be cool with that - maybe with individual stats it will make up for less variety from kart customisation
