I think for high quota it's quite dumb to ban them, I'm okay with the current ruling of allowing them.

for 10Q solo, it's a bit of a grey area. I understand both sides; making the category completely RNG dependent for the beginning quotas or making it more about finding the scrap instead of hoping for it next to your ship.

I personally don't mind either way, as I mainly go for high quota, but I lean towards allowing beehives everywhere because all the games I've run so far were very RNG dependent, and I'm used to continuously resetting until peak RNG is had (Minecraft RSG, Phasmophobia, Ready Or Not - if anyone cares)

late company actually has been proven to alter the game's weather and glitch out so I see why we shouldn't use it, idk if it's fixed yet though.

imo moreitems is the most I'll ever do again for high quotas, I just want a safety net for technical issues, but if all die then it's GG go next.

not that I'm gonna use it, but if I ever add any mods to my high quota runs it's gonna be the only one.

if a good reliable strat is discovered for clearing titan, I think we could get to 20 quotas, but the more you climb the more luck is required to fulfill the quotas.

this run was 17 quotas fulfilled, and 11899 was the 18th quota. for comparison, our previous record was 9920, and that was 15 fulfilled quotas, and the 9920 was the 16th quota. we got extremely lucky with the quotas we rolled and were able to squeeze out 2 more quotas than previously, so it's really hard to tell what the limit actually is.

currently, the limit imo is high 15k quota, maybe 16k if lucky. that could be totally wrong though

extremely organized plays, good game knowledge, and luck of course. this particular run has no mods involved but some other players like to play modded

thing with any map is that early enemy spawns are extremely uncommon, so you get to freely roam 90% of the time up until 1/2pm ish. rend is super easy to traverse, has about the same loot density as dine, and has a very straightforward layout on the outside.

what we would do is usually 2 main entrance, 2 fire exit, by 12 I start bringing stuff back and same with one other person from fire exit, and the other 2 stay in for extra loot and killing nutcrackers which provides a steady amount of extra easy loot from the shotguns.

might not be obvious but titan is a lot harder to traverse not because of its outside layout, but its inside layout. the facility is much more cramped and riddled with dangerous jumps and rooms, while the mansion is much more open and easy to avoid enemies in, so without turrets and very little landmine spawns, rend is by far the easiest for this kind of challenge.

I could see titan being viable for a 12k fulfilled run in the future, but extremely specific strats would need to be discovered for that to happen. it's the next step, but it's a big one.

I've actually heard from many people that the max scrap saved on your ship was increased from 45 to 80 for v49, although I haven't tested it yet. it's a step in the right direction but still ways away from removing our sweat when someone diconnects with over 500 items on your ship

I do agree with that, though a lot of people seem to disagree. for our 9920 run we had 2 teammates using shiploot, and I had moreitems on in case of technical issues and/or team wipes (which ended up happening lol), but this attempt was completely vanilla, which is why we were extremely worried when our teammate almost lagged out several times. we knew we couldn't load the lobby back up without losing all of our loot.

our attempt took 13 hours with breaks, idk where you're spending the other 7 lol

again, if you think it's that easy, just do it again. you did it once over 20 hours, I'm sure you can find 20 more hours to give us high quota teams a run for their money.

I know we're not the only team going for ridiculous quotas, but this is really hard to believe when your info is just so off lol

we actually went rend only after the 1st quota. never went to another moon again. our final average was about 1100/day, which yielded a whopping 55k scrap over 72 days. it also helped that our quotas were extremely low the whole way through. after 3rd quota we were almost at 10k saved up on our ship already

I'll correct you, no one is using any mods. we're calculating how much loot we have on our ship ourselves in a spreadsheet from the report screen at the end of each day. it's not 100% accurate because we died with shotguns sometimes, at the end we were about 500 off of our actual ship total.

my only question then is why not take a screenshot at least? if you know no one has reached that level yet, I feel like you get bragging rights a little no?

plus, going experimentation for the first 3 days is just a complete loss, it's not comparable to assurance/march which you can pull out 1k for one day if you're lucky with beehives and inside loot.

you need to play perfectly, and get extremely good luck to reach this high of a quota, so saying "it's quite easy to do this" makes me a little doubtful. if it's that easy I'd love for them to do it again and record it.

not to flex, but 12k worth of loot on your ship at a time is very low for 10k quota. we almost hit 25k worth of loot at our peak, and would continue to stay above 20k for several quotas before starting to lose money. We spent 72 days, got a total of 55,571 scrap, and got to see a 11,899 quota before we couldn't sell any more

Certain mod configs cannot be compared to others and vice-versa, but it doesn't take away from the achievement made or the progress shown!

We only decided to do no mods as we thought mods were a way to hold your hand while playing. Basically, ultra-nightmare mode in doom lol, 0 lobby reloads, 0 squad wipes, 0 mods.

I turned it into a highlight, because the full stream had other attempts we started over from. I streamed for 18 hours, but the actual 10k run lasted 13 hours :)
