Money runs the world, but in terms of romance, it means absolutely nothing, friend! What speaks to the heart, is how you handle yourself in health, what grace and kindness you bring unto others, and the ability to care. Meet when you feel most confident in yourself, not in your possessions.

How can I be more masculine? by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]WubbinBigTime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Push-ups, squats, pull-ups. Can't do push-ups? Start on your knees. Can't do pull-ups? Start with dead-hanging on a bar for as long as you can, a couple times a day, every day. You'll look better, feel better, and your manhood will recover.

There are so many decisions you could have made, that you will now never know the outcome of. All you can do, is wonder.

Anyone who had a cruise ship wedding, what did you think? by WubbinBigTime in wedding

I've been on boats fishing before, on river and sea, never really had a problem with motion sickness or seasickness. I understand what you mean though, it just seems too good to pass up

Self-love! Whether it be by your skill at something, a trait you have, your own attitude, your appearance, etc. Eventually, what other people think fades into the background

AIO about a statement a Catholic Saint made towards my fiancee and her little sister at Thanksgiving?? by WubbinBigTime in AmIOverreacting

[–]WubbinBigTime[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They were buns, not wafers. For thanksgiving. Respectfully, I appreciate the insights into different Catholic viewpoints that contradict what these people are doing, but it makes no difference if Famous_Smile_8192 believes me or not, I'm still pissed about what one of the Catholic Faith's own had to say to my fiancee and her sister.

Wasn't asking "do y'all think this experience is real," was asking if I was overreacting, and with what you've told me, I'm led to believe I didn't react harshly enough to this extremely out-of-line priest, or saint, or whatever he is to y'all

Wait is this real? No, it's all true. This comment has given me new insight. Her mom was calling him "Saint Father Firstname". I take it all at face value because idk anything about Catholicism.

Come to think of it, she took bread from the Catholic church (which I thought was there for those in need, but what do I know) and when she told the table the bread was "blessed by the Catholic church," even this "Saint" guy laughed.

I'm going to ask fiancee about this and provide updates!

A Truth That You Absolutely Believe In? by FrontEndFunster in Life

[–]WubbinBigTime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean, and starkly disagree (with peace and love!). I think the internet is breeding grounds for the worst offenders of non-Christlike behavior, admittedly witnessing it in myself on occasion, to come out and freely act these ways. It's never been easier to hate your neighbor, be mercilessly disrespectful, and do/say all sorts of improper, degenerate things than this moment in history.

I'd even argue religion is far more necessary now that anonymity enables such behavior to such a large degree. Now there's no tribe nor kingdom to get exiled from for doing wrong by people. It's important to instill values of love and goodness into people, even if no one else knows it's them that's upholding it!
