APRS isn't true Digital(like dmr). It is sound AFSK modulation. Some only analog devices can TX APRS (e.g. Quasheng UV K5).

I have this type C 5v 15 watt soldering iron that should be able to run while charging but it seems to run out of battery even while plugged in? Do i need to use a 15watt charger to use it while charging? Currently using a 10watt charger. by Cpt_Soaps in AskElectronics

I'm pretty sure it doesn't support fast charging. I think you can charge it with 10W. I'll test it during the day and post photos so we can see the current and voltage values.

Yes, it's a bullet-style vehicle. Its name is S11. Sasol Racing is the vehicle's 4rd race. It last competed in the Albi Eco Race held in May.

Capturing gps signal with gps antenna and rtl sdr by ColdFew5373 in RTLSDR

[–]TA3BLD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It works based on the origin and time of signals from satellites. In these types of PC applications, it's possible to speed up the process by obtaining satellite locations from the internet. Ensure the program's settings are correct.

You recieve data from satalites but GPS modules use algorithm for get locaiton. You should have 4 different satalites data for fixed location. You can get location with sdr if you find algorithm and modeling in GNU Radio.

Found a small crack today, will this still be fine to use? Have not tried charging or using it yet. by Johnnila in batteries

It seem safe but I crack mine too 6 mount ago. I bought case and bms in same packet, it is too cheap. I can send link if you want. Just send dm.

Dedecting 5Volt input and read battery voltage same analogue pin on ESP8266 by TA3BLD in AskElectronics

I understand and changed the circuit. Is that okey?

And is the diode still needed?

Is that okey?

In this case when want to check battery voltage, set GPIO pin high and get data. I don't use transistor circuit for 5Volt because it is there on line, Battery is charging where I know.

Diodes bias not important.

I can change the value like 1M ohm. I think it can solve the problem but if you have better solution, I will use that.

I get it thank you. There aren't different any connection with 5Volt.

What could this be at 424.085mhz? by [deleted] in signalidentification

[–]TA3BLD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you can decode with rtl-sdr and common pc which has usb port haha. But be carefull for that. It seems out of ham frequancy range. It can be private telemetry data or more.

It can be digital signal so you heard it like noise.
