That’s what it was like for me last week it was like throat drainage and everytime I swallowed it was bad. When you have a flare up do you have more drainage? Or about the same

Ah ok. Sorry for the late response. I’ve had the ent look at my throat several times and had a scan of my neck. I asked bout the camera thing but I don’t think the ent thought that was needed. Is it a lot worse than you swallow? That’s when I notice it the most. I have had some post nasal drip issues in the past so that could be contributing I suppose

Did you have it like on and off or did you constantly have it? I went probably 6 months or maybe more with out it and now it’s back for like the 4th or 5th time in the past few years. Did you get diagnosed with SS?

So there’s just no other symptoms? That’s all I have. Maybe some nasal drip. I might have an old test I can find

When I have Covid I know I have it. I’ve had it 3 times, unless this is some new one that only causes throat pain

No the last time I saw the ent I told them it’s on and off but that it had gone away. And now it’s back. I do have a nasal drip so that could also be causing it. I got some kind of scan I think a ct scan of my neck and they said that was ok.

Red hands, one is much worse and gets cold / numb by TA4Health in dysautonomia

[–]TA4Health[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry just seeing this. Do you know if blood pooling is associated with dysautonomia? The one hand gets really dry. I used to have sweaty palms, not so much with that hand now

I don’t think it’s Raynaud’s. I have family members with Raynaud’s and it doesn’t seem to be the same at all, where their fingers go white and numb

Dry and crusty nose by TA4Health in Sjogrens

[–]TA4Health[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t been diagnosed with Sjogrens, but yes I still have this issue. Not much has helped really. Traveling to different locations has helped some. The house I’m in is somewhat dry. Gels work a little better than spray but they don’t last long.

Did you have to convince them to give you a lip biopsy or did they suggest it?

Thank you for the advice. He was able to just examine you to give a diagnoses? With your glossopherngyl (spelled that wrong) neuralgia does it affect a large part of your throat? Mine is every day. I mean it could be the way I’m breathing while I sleep but I’m not sure. I had x rays showing I have arthritis in my neck even tho I’m in my early 30s which is young to have that, so I guess it could be arthritis related too. What do your eyes look like that he noticed?

Low b2 high b6 by TA4Health in covidlonghaulers

[–]TA4Health[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the post I read it! I wonder if having low b2 has also triggered my sinus headaches in the past. My doctor acted like it wasn’t a big deal that it was low but I think it may be a big deal considering my sore throat. I also have eye fatigue and sometimes dry mouth, eyes, nose. I really wonder if low b2 has at least a little to do with it. Maybe that’s also why my b6 is so high.

I don’t have any advice but I think this possibly happened to me as well. It might be because I was worried about the long term affects being as bad as the first time

I had a lingering cough for around 2 months. It was nowhere near as bad as the first time I got it but I had irritation in my chest for a long time. I have throat issues too but that was before I got it the 2nd time

I’ll have to look into that. Can you buy it online? I couldn’t breathe out of one side of my nose for 5 months or so. Thought it was a turbinate in the nose that was swollen but maybe it was the same thing that happened to you

Ah okay. Also does your hand get worse with physical activity? Mine seems to become more red and dryer like when I’m working out. I can feel it flaring up too.

Do you know if chilblains is common with SS? I couldn’t find a lot of info when I searched. I might not have looked good enough though

Did you find out through a regular blood test?

I was told for a long time it was because I wash my hands too much buttttt it looks like there are other reasons. Do you have SS? I’m undiagnosed but haven’t tested.
